Dont take their threat lightly, They do what they say. Be safe and better to leave karachi for few months.

Well people who lives in North/Nazimabad area already know how Baber Ghori and his gang turning MQM in to land maffia group. Ever single Nazimabadi knows how this thing work, how a residential building near busy roads of Paposh Market, Golmarket, 7 number, Hyderi market, tunring in to 4 story flat and shopping plaza.

Who is behind 7-10 story building right under Matric board office bridge.

Baber Ghori... tum ko paposh ke kbaristan main bhi jaga nhi meley gi bhai.... gunah se moon weseey hi kala hogia hey tumhara.

hooligans of MQM are threatening me for daring consequences bcs of my working for PTI in the area of 5-E Nazimabad Karachi. the boys of their unit # 183( Mehmood, Ameen,Imran shehzada, farrukh, arif pathan, and some others are continuously chasing me. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday morning unit's whole gang gathered round my home to stop me from attending Karachi Jalsa and tried to frighten me to desist from working for PTI...Being a part of media cell of PTI Sind, I revealed this in my live talk with Express News on 25 Dec at 3 pm from media enclosure. I explicitly declare that life of mine and my family members is at severe risk..and if I am killed or any member of my family...F.I.R should be lodged against MQM and Altaf Hussain... MQM has two faces

Very sad incident indeed and especially when MQM wants to expand it's support base in other areas of Pakistan. In the absence of any effective law enforcement, i would suggest Mr Mustafa to leave Karachi or keep a low profile and his mouth shut.

Cheap publicity stunt for sympathy:)
I would give him zero importance. Remember, MQM is not PMLN, even an operation didn't put much dent into its strength. So whatever Mr. Arif is trying won't work. Better move to PTI hometown. Don't make it camel in the tent story, if PTI is given some leverage on Dec25 that does not mean you can start campaigning.

Well the guy's life is in danger and if he is thinking PTI or anyone else will come to support him, he is mistaken

Now the only thing he can do is to move with family out of Karachi or contact Zulfiqar Mirza as he is the one who had the courage to fought back

Bhai supporting MQM is one thing, calling wrong things wrong is another. You are still supporting MQM by pointing out wrong doing of leadership ... today PML N and PPP are in shameless situation because no one in party have courage to stand up against Mafias with in party.

Wouldnt be hard for you guys finding facts if you want to know.. that 10-13 story building built right under bridge was trade mark of Baber Ghori and his gang. Go to Haydere market, you will find small shops set up on side road during MQM period, guess how much each shop owner is paying ever month to Hyderee market association and who is President of this association....this is in direct Bhata, Those days are gone when MQM unit use to collect "chanda" from each home now time to make big money from Sarafa markets, Commercial Plazas, Construction places.... 500 yrd ke ghar per kesey 10 manazla apartment ban jata hey.

Hayerat es baat per hey Karachi main rhatey howey aap ko yeah khabreen nhi melteen?

Do you live in Karachi? If you were threatened, all you need to do is visit your local sector office and speak with the sector in-charge on this. As per my experience, there are many elements in Karachi who supposedly use MQM's name to solidify their crooked activities. I'm not absolving MQM of any wrongdoing since their members or activists cannot be saints either.

i do accept reality... i know there is bhattakhori in khi. but it is immature to put it all on MQM as you are doing it. Karachites are not scared to talk aloud and if MQM is doing such a thing, they will speak up. it is MQM that is actually standing up for the business community.

When I visit KHI, I cannot live without having a discussion on politics. And I do not even care if I happened to be sitting on a chabutra in the middle of a MQM-stronghold. That puts me in a lot of trouble. I think they are just "hollow threats" besides, people who threatened me, sit at the Unit !!!

Jab aap MQM ke liay kaam karo gey na, they real work from putting banner on Aysha Manzil to setting up corners meetings in pak colony or Orangi town you will learn about patterns and style.....Bhai logon ka style hota hey janab.

Jab Karachi waley boley they to ghar ghar parchi jana band hoi thi.... Ab yeah hi tech and high volume dhond lia hey.

oh ho, to aam kay beopari hain huzoor:) besides, i heard about chanda as we used to contribute but never heard bhata, it is JI terminology ( who had no problem in collecting aanat and union contribution but once their resources depleted they started calling mqm chanda as bhuta).

back in 90's when babariat was at its top , i remember a column by Nazir Naji , anyone can kill anyone in khi without any fear as we have pre-labelled killers.

What happened to Hakim Saeed Shaeed case ? Becasue of political twist given to it , no one got convicted ever.

What happened to famous Maj. Kalim Case ? Everyone acquitted by high court as there was no proof .

We need to speak on merit . This man who opened tihs thread , has anyone ever heard his name ? How come he become so important ? To me its a stunt to get publicity and may be better position in the party.

i think biggest opponent of MQM in karachi is JI. Prof Ghafoor lives in FB Area, MQM has never said anything to him.

Munawar Hassan , who himslef is biggest badmash , also used to live in karachi. Nothing happened to him .

Moulana Noorani Mehroom used to live in karachi, nothing happend to him .

Don't know who people belonging to punjab and sitting overseas and who have been to khi only once to watch sea, give rulings on karachi law and order and mqm badmashi.

Reading the views of MQM supporters on this threads only serves to give credence to the perceptions that have plagued MQM for years; ie a party of intolerant extortionist who have little appetite for democracy. Could it be true after all, they MQM is a mafia dressed as a political party?

I always tended to have neutral views about MQM but from reading the comments here I am beginning to think if there is some truth in the perceptions. Either people like RQ are deliberate plants by other parties to discredit MQM otherwise Mr Altaf needs to do some serious weeding of his party.

The business community of Karachi is the cow everyone is milking to death, to suggest that extortion is not happening in Karachi is laughable, the only question is who is getting how much of the cake.

To threaten the political workers of any party (notice any party) or stopping them from carrying out legitimate social and political activities is the work of intolerant bigots which ever party them may belong to.

Karachi belongs to EVERY Pakistani. Get used to this reality.

Extortion specifically targeted at business community is rampant but its not just MQM which has a share in the pie. Matter of fact, several players have proliferated over the years who are pitching in with their efforts to assiduously milk this cow.

Title of this thread would be a hit with free media. Now a days, everybody is waiting to hear any thing about PTI, from PTI, for PTI or against PTI.
I sincerely advise this guy to lodge an FIR against persons he believed are from MQM. PTI as party should raise the concern from highest level particularly about this incident.
I think Advises from Siddiqi bhai regarding visiting 90 is also very relevant and practical.
I also would like to have some evidence to validate this sound bite?

Further advice is also in store. Haider Abbas Rizvi, Waseem Akhtar, Raza Haroon and Faisal Sabzwari specifically look after such issues and are very proactive. They can usually be approached at 90 in the evening time, their schedule permitting of course. Besides, I find this thread laughable to say the least. No one knows this PTI dude and this drawing room party has to go a long long way before it could be perceived a threat to anyone.

Why does the MQM leadership not take ownership of this complaint and investigate the matter properly? Issue a public statement denouncing the cowards who have issued the threats? I trust we are against the politics of threats and can refer to such people as cowards?

The easiest way to avoid responsibility in Pakistan is ask the aggrieved to go to court because everyone knows that will go no where.

probably i am a bit detached from ground realities after living many years oversees but calling me a planted is the biggest insult you have caused.

This guy is trying to ride mqm for his heinous publicity agenda, after all he belongs to media cell. He is employing strategy to gain sympathy. In situation otherwise, pti is completely irrelevant organization. He is trying to provide himself and pti a footing that seems impossible in current scenario.

Why he did not consider contacting his incompetent pti higherups? (apology for rhetorical question). If there was mater of such serious nature, it could be dealt that way. But i believe mr. Arif has other plans: to create fassad.

If this guy were serious he should contact Imran Khan asap and tell him about the imminent threat. Imran can mobilize the authorities to protect his workers.

Why is it MQMs responsibility to negate a youtube video. Why shouldn't PTI first identify this person as one of their own, and then state whether this accusation is real or not. Then only MQM has the responsibility to answer. Otherwise I can make an accusation against any party on youtube and expect a response. That would be absurd.
