    Militants release video of former ISI officers !

    ISLAMABAD: Videos of two former ISI officers, who went missing last month, were released by unknown militants in the tribal areas of Pakistan on Monday.

    Col (retd) Amir Sultan, widely known as Col. Imam and Squadron Leader (retd) Khalid Khawaja went missing in the tribal areas last month while they were accompanying a journalist to assist him with a documentary on militants.

    In the video, both hostages introduced themselves as former ISI officers........

    Taliban demands captives swap

    Taliban asked the government to swap former ISI man Colonel (r) Imam and Khalid Khawaja with some of their leaders including Mullah Brothers.
    In a footage got by Dunya TV, the Taliban warned that they would kill both the ISI officials if their demands were not fulfilled.

    This is exactly what I had mentioned in other thread about how different ISI cells are working with Taliban.

    This is likely a sham ISI drama to get their jihadi friends released, orchestrated by Hamid Gul. May Allah have no mercy on these ISI devils that has made Pukthuns homeless and killed so many of us.

    If Taliban really are serious and behead these ISI terrorists, this would be highly ironic that the Taliban are the ones to offer justice to Pukhtuns/Afghans in the end.

    The more I think about this, this just seems like typical ISI drama where the taliban unit of ISI is trying to get their brothers released who were accidentally captured by the counter terrorist unit of ISI.

    Is their any indication that ISI has been also divided like most of other organizations in Pakistan?

    Today's attack at the Qissa Khawani Bazaar over JI rally is enough to create certain doubts.

    There is every indication that ISI is divided up into semi-independent cells under its various directorates that sometimes work against each other on tactical level for benefit of overall strategy.
