    One of the journalists who received spokesman Mohammad’s phone call in Darra Adamkhel on Friday was Zafar Khan. “The spokesman reminded that the Akhorwal villagers first raised a lashkar to fight the Taliban and then sought peace by making a deal with us. We attacked them because they broke the deal, killed four of our men and refused our demand to hand us the killers,” is the message that was conveyed to Zafar Khan. “The spokesman Mohammad said they have taken their revenge,” explained Zafar Khan while talking to The News.

    Momin Afridi, who belongs to the Sheraki branch of Afridis, has the reputation of a pro-government commander. Tariq Afridi, who is from the Zarghunkhel Afridi sub-tribe, is fiercely anti-government and one of the top TTP commanders.

    Some of the SIMPLE TRIBESMEN are gradually understanding their stance in favour of Govt and Against TTP..
    From first day this was criticised by many of PK plolitians that LASHKARS are not the solution to fight TTP.
    But Lashkar will result in a deadly Blow among Pashtunes groups..
    In Many parts of the Pashtunes, Lashkar forming Ideology is not favoured by local people after some deadly blows in many Parts of the Pashtunes against LASHKARS....

    Implementing Law and Order is the duty of Govt and not of the Local people.

    general kiyani funds locals to raise lashkers on behalf of american war of terror

    US pays pak army to fight, they then pay locals to fight, hence locals end up fighting each other-

    army chief is responsible for all this war of fitnah

    Lashkar is age old tradition of puhstuns. TTP is new kid on the block and funded by ISI with CIA money. Most of the support from Kayani is going to taliban through ISI with supplies, tactical advice, training and funding.

    In fact while army claims to support lashkars, they in fact don't give any weapons and in many cases have directly attacked lashkars with gunships and artillery. Example right now is in Kurram where the turi's are being blockaded by both army and their taliban allies to put pressure on them to allow Haqqani fighters into their area. As we know Haqqanis are the biggest ISI agents in the area.

    Pakistan army strategy is to make pushtuns fight each other in the name of fake jihad and collect money over the dead bodies. Drone attacks would only be effective if they moved eastward near pindi. This is the direct result of the jihadi policy of Pakistan and the future looks very clear where all these rabid trained jihadis will turn the guns on each other once america leaves. All in the name of Islam and Jihad!

    SufiSoul,

    You should read history before commenting. Lashkars have been raised for hundreds of years by tribesmen and fought against british and all they receive are empty words by army, no support. Your taliban is new fitna raised and actively supported by pakistan army.

    This attack was between two jihadi groups and as we know these jihadi groups like their pakistani army bosses don't care about how many civilians they kill in their fight for power and money.
