We need a leader! Not a follower (of America, India, corruption, mullahs etc)

What's up with ppl exploding on the highways now? This is the 2nd time.....

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 14:12 #
  28. I am sorry (yani afsoos, rather than apologetic sense) haven't had time to regularly post, but msohail, this is a planned orchestrated tactic of creating mass mahem in order to expose the inadequacy of government and enable the masses to eventually agree with the 'Jihadists' that their form of rule would be a better option.

Its no coincidence Pesh, 'Pindi, Lahore. All the blasts occuring on army/police/international buildings, main highways. Rehman Malik and his team of spin doctors must be working over-time!

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 14:44 #
  29. @ORIEL...do u have a proof that the blasts in Peshawar was work of any Jihadis and not blackwater(US) backed up by our Govt!

Oriel says: 'Jihadists' that their form of rule would be a better option.

What is "their" form of rule? Would you care to enlighten us.

This sudden increase on civlian targets should not be surprise for anyone. McChrystal is next door in Afghanistan heading NATO troops. He was a head of JSOP in Iraq under the command of Patraeus, launching these blasts in busy market places to instill fear in ppl's mind.

My problem is that these Taliban are giving them a breathing space to come do these nefarious things with impunity.

I don't know how this will change?

Then we should be all for it. Although the media continues to demonize it, it is the best option to get rid of all evils of the society from tyrants like Zardari to warlords like Altaf and traitors like Rehman Malik.

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 14:58 #
  34. @Khan Sahib:

Hypothetically speaking: if the 'Jihadists' succeeded in creating their form of Shariah rule, would you go back to settle in Pakistan?

They did quite well in capturing areas in Afghanistan for a short while, was that a better place for Pakhtuns or anyone else?

What Shariah are you talking about? On a political level who follows Quran and Sunnah? Ok, maybe that is too high an ideal, on a societal level where is Quran and Sunnah. Ok, forget that, on an individual level, where is Quran and Sunnah?

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 15:22 #
  35. This is even more lame than IK's net following.

When I see and feel Shariah on any individual level I will believe it is possible on a political level. When the country stinks due to the likes of A-Z in politics, F and Js in religious parties and K and Ps in military command, please do not mention something as high as SHARIAH. Pak is the last place on Earth upon which Shariah can be established.

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 15:26 #
  36. @oriel...

Yes,I will go if I can be of any help to the system anytime.
As regards to the Talibaan, although I am not a Talibaan supporter and I don't endorse any particular sect/group Shariah but i do want pakistan to be a model Islamic state. As regards to your statement about Afghanistan,..My Dear, we are discussing a country who has been invaded by 2 super powers one by one (the only country in the world) and they have been at war for over 33 years now..The longest war struck country in the world in this era! So do the maths yourself, if It was or is an easy task to implement Peace in afghanistan but may I remind u that during Talibaan's short rule, the growth of opium went down to less then 0.5% in the history of Afghan for the first time and no woman was abducted or raped in kabul. As oppose to that, the day Northern ALLIANCE tookover, thousands of women were abducted by these warloads belonged to Northern ALLIANCE and killed after being raped.

Coming to Shariah... If you or I don't follow Islam, should we just abolish the need for an Islamic system? If I don't watch TV, should I just ban all TV Channels? It doesn't work like this! Instead one becoming judgemental about a person or human based upon one's own experience or information relayed by a third person or medium should not be the basis of our reluctance or intolerance.

Never underestimate. Arabia was the worst society on planet with all evils one can imagine but yet sharia came and was a torch for rest of mankind. Have you ever heard the hadith about Khurasan, Pakistan?

  38. Khan_Sahib:

I was not talking about helping anyone, I was talking about living in a place, going to the nearest grocery store when your atta runs out, sending your kids to the local school... you know the mundane, daily things we all have to do wherever we reside. Would you live in Pak if the Talibs are ruling govt?

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 16:03 #
  39. Yes, Why Not? What is your fear?

Living in present Karachi is more dangerous under Clean shaved Talibaan..If u can do that then certainly I can do the same. And also, I said that I want Shariah and not just a Talibaan's shariah (if they want their version of Shariah if not from Quran and Sunnah)

Please don't dodge the issue and be specific as it's not about me and you but people's lives are at stake!

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 16:22 #
  40. Sorry Ghareeb, have heard of Hadees regarding Khurasan and have no doubt those with black turbans from Pak and Afghanistan fighting right now are not those referred to in the Hadees.

  43. 'Terrorists now strike Rawalpindi'

What happened to the 'local born and bred' terrorists that foreigners alien to our culture have to don an attire like ours and roam wearing, talking and behaving same as if they are one of us? What was the urgency that they have to look and behave like they 'are from the stone age' we were promised to be bombed to?

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 16:50 #
  44. I believe that a war can not be justified/labelled on the basis of books or news! Ghareeb pointed towards the hadees of Khurasan and by that he meant that "Shariah" can be implemented in Pakistan regardless of your negative vibes! You cannot just disregard the "signs" without properly knowing the facts! The Ground Facts and not the facts told by these TV Channels or the Junk email people forward to each other..

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 16:51 #
  45. I have no fear from Talib rule, nor A-Z rule nor the rule of any human being. I denounce (on the net and in person if I ever have the chance) all groups/people that use violence/coersion/fear tactics to attain political voice; be that 'democratic' govt, army, religious groups. For me they are all one and the same. They use higher ideals to manipulate an illiterate people for power, status and wealth. The whole game is about that. Not Kharasan, Shariah or any form of humanity. Such thinking dissipates in the higher echelons of society. Such thinking is only present in those outside political circles.

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 16:57 #
  46. @ORIEL...do u have a proof that the blasts in Peshawar was work of any Jihadis and not blackwater(US) backed up by our Govt!

U still didn't give me any answer to my Question! Hmmmmmm You are now following JS nakshey Qadam... dodge and Diverge :-)

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 17:03 #
  47. Lol Khan_Sahib, you mentioned something about being judgmental earlier, but obviously have strong opinions on my 'sources'. But for the sake of the truth I will whole heartedly agree that I know alot less than many on this forum, especially the Pakhtun members, ex-army members and older more experienced members.

Regardless, Shariah will not be implemented in Pak until some sign of the implementation of humanity in Pak. Reason: awaam will rebel against Shariah intentions due to a debauched mind-set prevelant in the land.

    @khan sahib

No he doesn't just as you don't have any proof to the contrary. However, given recent events, it is highly likely that the blasts in Peshawar were carried out by militants. If not why have they not denied it as yet?

    Posted 2 years ago on 02 Nov 2009 17:12 #
  49. I do not have proof about Pesh blasts. Though would you give me proof that Jihadists were not behind 'Pindi, Isb, Lahore?

Will concede your sources are highly credible in the North. Though my area is Punjab, which is not a hot fav. for Jihadists, hence my live sources in Isb/Lahore may also credible.

Do u really think that if they would deny, your sell out media and Govt will air it???? That is the main problem! People trust this media way too much without knowing the ground realities! Please Go and Visit Swat,Waziristan and Peshawar and talk to the affected people and see it for yourself!
