SAK Sahib!
If you were a cricketer, your brilliant comments would have been equivalent to a double century. The trouble with you is that you are playing a very 'suureeli banseeri' in front of a ...... you know what (I dare not say it, lest it causes offence).
We know who is sacrosanct in your eyes (wink wink) and I dare anyone who has no more use left for his fingers to take a shot at her.
Come on you have got to admit Asma is no Sana, who would want to quote poetry about Asma? You wouldn't, would you? Would you? Would you? Come on I want an answer, would you?
Just for the record, I am in favour of women working along side men but I don't want them to go round proving men wrong! LOL
As a matter of fact I was hugely offended by a comment made by msyedh in a reply to you; (this is serious stuff now)
msyedh writes:
"SultanAliKhan@
ab ap ke paas aur kuch kehnay ko nein, pus aurtoon kee tarah hans kar hee kaam chalana paray ga."Msyedh, your brilliance is that in one sentence you have insulted more than half of the Pakistani nation (plus one at least) including your dear Benazir and all other women.
Congratulations, msyedh you get the award for being the first dinosaur of 2012. I take it you hold this opinion of all women, including some great women from Islamic history.
msyedh, if you have any decency in you, I just suggest to apologise for your offensive statement.
msyedh, I don't mind you hurling abuses at me or SAK but please do not insult all the women in the same sentence.
Rs 200 says you will not have the decency to apologise for your highly objectionable and sexist statement. Does Zardari know about your opinion of women or do you share these opinions with him, you know ...two of a kind.
It is beneath me to write any response to msyedh.
Now back to SAK;
You have a brilliant knack for picking up contradictions in what people say. Like you, I enjoy dissent but I find it amusing to read highly genetic and programmed replies to dissent. I say keep up your good work. I will meanwhile dig up some poetry for you.

@SN quite a contradiction..after all that diatribe
"It is beneath me to write any response to msyedh"
as my garandma used to say... beti main kehti hoon ... bahoo tu sun ... tsk tsk

Shall I look at what your grandma said in the light of msyedh, immortal comments;
"ab ap ke paas aur kuch kehnay ko nein, pus aurtoon kee tarah hans kar hee kaam chalana paray ga"
Any opinion on that?
So any chance of the reply you promised in a different thread, is it far too 'above' you?
Blind allegiance and blind faith are equally fatal, for all supporters of all parties.

i would like msyedh to comment on what he meant...
but an outside perspective ...what is so wrong in what he has said...afterall women do smile, laugh and use their charm to get things done....just like kids and older ppl sometimes get an edge and preferential treatment because of their age ...women have the gift of charm that is an established fact
this is their exclusive trait, but not their ONLY trait and this does not signify them exclusively
... they are mothers ..housemakers...leaders and excel in every field....i dont find MsyedH comment derogatory ... but again i am not a woman ...
...and so i ask ppl around me ... i am surrounded by feminists and still they dont find anything wrong with it as long as it is not the only dimension...
...in the end i think ...that was just a comment with no illintent for a bit of sarcastic pleasure...bit of one upmanship ...matti pao...
btw sorry i got busy with stuff ..wasnt online for a few days...i owe u a reponse but somehow lost that link...will look for it..if u send the link...would be much appreciated..since i wanted to respond :))

@StingingNettle....oh man let go off my arm and stop twisting, it hurts yar.....besides, I do accept that Asma is not Sana....kahan gungoo tailee aur kahan raja bhoj??....now you need to find out who is who here.....lol....
I was praising Asma's daring act of speaking her mind and not caring less how people will interpret her words...that is pure courage, "gal has the balls" well, of course speaking figuratively on both counts..........lollll
I loved the way you lashed out at MSyedH, man you definitely have a flair and gusto when it comes to tearing someone into pieces.....more so if the opponent is a female, absent, and as defenseless as Bucha Babes.....lollll....
I was laughing at comments u made "I don't mind women working along side men but I don't like them going around proving men wrong"....loll...that is every macho man's dream but we should not reveal our deep secrets in public.....lolllzz
For all practical reasons,girls in pak have taken over from boys in education sector as I see top 3 to 5 positions in school/college/uni levels have been occupied by girls for many years now, while boys are not seen anywhere near.....pretty soon girls will be calling the shots with boys serving as second best....
@arif.....your outside perspective is a bit too personal...you know too much about msyedh to narrate all those angles with aplomb and confidence.....loll...wait a minute, maybe you yourself are msyedh under a different nickname??......lolll

SAK;
Does Sana know about Asma? You are in big trouble man, running with the hare and dancing with the fox at the same time.(I don't remember what the correct expression is)
"I do accept that Asma is not Sana....kahan gungoo tailee aur kahan raja bhoj?" That gave me a huge laugh and reminded me of the story of the Beauty and the Beast.
Shall I just toss a coin? Or are we talking about inner beauty?
You are right about girls outdoing boys in school exams. If we are to believe in merit then we have to give up the mentality of the likes of msyedh who talk first and think later. Women deserve respect for their learning and achievements just like men. The days that women were only good for smiling sweetly and making tea and smoosas for guests are long gone. I have had enough of innuendos and stereotypes. Pakistan can only move forward with the help of both men and women. We need to respect our girls, even Asma Khan and definitely Sana, for their feisty attitudes towards right and wrong. I might not agree with them but I am happy to see them speak their mind.
SAK, a promise kept;
Think Sana, listen and enjoy.

@StingingNettle.....I thank thee for the wonderful Ghazal which was sung beautifully.......got goosebumps when visualized Bucha babes in view of those words.....lol....
Didn't realize the shabby looking lady could sung that good......dekha iss beemari ye dil nay aakher kam tammam kiya...pray for me man...lol.

SAK,
At least now you can't say we are not trying to cure you!
You are not the first one to be afflicted by 'aarza-e-dil' but you seemed to be a particularly complex case.
Normally the sufferer only needs a couple of couplets followed by two full ghazals and that is it but in your case I have have to hit you with a full 'deevan e Ghalib'
"Didn't realize the shabby looking lady could sung that good.."
I bet if it was Sana dressed in those clothes, you wouldn't ask the same question, would you?
You have got to look beyond the looks and listen to what Asma and Sana have to say, to prove that you are a well-adjusted man.
Having said that, this formula does not work with some of our male politicians. For example in Zardari's case, don't try to listen to what he says, you will only need Prosac to carry on. I tried to listen to Zardari being interview by Hamid Mir, I must say, even though I have a very high pain threshold, but on this occasion, I gave up 10 minutes into the interview.
Did you watch the Zardari interview? Did you have your own sick bag with you?

hahaha@StingingNettle.....you naughty boy, stop needling and kneading an already "goner" (laghay gayye jay, something on those lines that you Lahori use).....lollzz
I have always been up for ghazals and poetry, and do get easily attracted with "acha kalam"...now you can argue who decides which "Kalam" is "Acha" but hey that is the privelege I would keep firmly to myself.....lolll..
Luckily I was out of town for an assignment and that kept me unaware what Zilchy-Zardari had to say...Much as I hated going out on assignment, it would have been even worse to hear Zardari's caw caw with "Phapa Kutna" Hamid Mir (a total waste of time) without making any sense....even if Zardari speaks for hours, I never expect him talking sense, and I must admit he never disappoints me...lolllzz..
As for Sana and Asma, well, what can I say?.....I sit thru their talks and wish they never stop....former for whatever comes out of her mouth feels good, latter whatever poison she can spew out without break seems music to ears....their mere utterances are good for mind, soul and body....same cannot be said for Mr. Z and Mr. G....hope you will not ask me what "Z" and "G" stand for, because then I will have to tell and Admin will ban me for ever!!!!
