AOA , That is one of good news for Pakistan that after so called National parties PMLN 28 years (punjabi based but did nothing for them came with nahra JAGG PUNJABI JAGG TERI PUGG NU LUG GIA DAGH) by NS in hi first term . PPP 42 years ( always Ready to play sindh card but did nothing for them and that province based). MQM years aroun 25 (Based on URDU speaking but did nothing for them ) ANP 80 +years (claim only mainly for Pakthtoon interest but did nothing for them) and many regional parties from Bugti to Jamali wadaras remain years and years in power (did nothing for Baluchistan) Kashmiris parties AJKMC (Sardar Abdul Qayyum since 1950s but did nothing for kashmiris).Religious based parties JI since 1941 and JUI F 44 +years (did nothing for religion ) They all had chance and many still in power .WHAT ELSE THEY WANT. ALL FAILTO DELIEVER.
Finally IK comes on scene and making his party PTI for Pakistanis and its not Lahore, Peshawar,Sind or Karachi based party. He is trying his best to bring from minorities to all main stream to religious and widely accepted leader. Never ever talk about ethnicity to already divided nation. Because he challenge these all Status Quo Rulers (State &Fed) those will not give up easily he have tough fight ahead and best thing about PTI build up while remaining in OPPOSITION . 16 years struggle in our society where every second word for IK to make fun of him is not easy struggle.

Its not just the universal message of unity, its also the non-corrupt image of IK that has drawn him towards people. Even 5 years ago, when he 'wasn't' considered a serious candidate, he was respected by all but was never taken seriously as a politician. Two reasons, celebrities rarely have made it big in politics in Pakistan. Secondly, people who supported him never even bothered going to the polls because they already knew about the outcome of the elections. This cynical and dishearted behavior kept the peopel especially the youth, the educated and the urban class away from polls. Things are changing alhumdulliah. Lets see how it goes.
