Everyone stamped with NRO should follow him, i dont know his background perhaps some one could shed some light on that but he has done a right thing and others should show some courage to follow him

PML-N is taking political advantage, but they don't have much at stake.

PPP can't do this much because their top leadership is involved in NRO.

  3. Its up to them, they want to save their party or they want this to be the last ride.

Even defending in court will not hem because its Govt. who has to pursue to the cases and we know how sincere this Govt. is?

political advantage..?? see this is the dilemma of our nation...if they do sumthin gud we always come up with an excuse and justification fr that and prove it write or wrong acc to our own limited wisdom.i have hardly known this person so how come he would be used for gaining popularity and that also for the party unless he was a khawaja or abbasi i would ve agreed absolutely.

He has definitely setup an example and it has to be praised since KURSI ka nasha is too much and nobody leaves that and if this guy has done it others shud follow and beleive that if they are innocent they will get their place back and with dignity. hatts off to him...!

    bholay badshaho,

Why would a govt employee tender his resignation in the darbaar of Nawaz Sharif during a party meeting?

    Who got the political mileage?

Actually he is not a government employee. He retired ten years ago. He was an adviser to Punjab Chief Minister and he has resigned from that.

Q: Why would a govt employee tender his resignation in the darbaar of Nawaz Sharif during a party meeting?

    A: fr political advantage..!!

bholay badshaho??.....sir urdu chorain ap to punjabi bhee likh laytay hain...or mujh say kehtay hain k english main likho..:)..waah saaeein waaah...!!

Khaan sahab either i really dont have enough political wisdom as much as you have*which i doubt OR you know that guy personally so that you are saying this*which i also doubt.:)

I dnt think this has anything to do fr gaining political popularity and even if it does i dont see any PP or MQM people doing this or any other party fr tht matter because as i said kursi ka nasha is more important. but i think its not fair to that person that in such circumstances where parties would die to get a mere seat if someone has resigned voluntarily we start callin it a political move its a bit unfair on his part and making it even more passimistic.

rest assured i would be more then happy if i see more and more people follow this POLITICAL MOVE if it is.

    Ali Bhai,

He did something right, to set the example for others. But this action was from PML-N side and they gained political mileage from this action without losing much.

PPP can't emulate as you can see their whole govt is at stake.

Isn't Advisor to CM a minister level post and isn't an advisor employee of the govt?

Kaira says that why should we resign, these are just allegations and we are all innocent until proven guilty.

Let us enjoy the war between PM and President.

  11. I remember Shaikh Rasheed some times back said that in the comming times : 'jootiyoun main da'al batey gi'!
I think this is the time and that is what has started to happen.

I guess this will just put extra pressure on PPP to decide the fate of NRO'fied ministers.

  13. PMLN already demanded PPP ministers to resign. In my opinion this should also include all the bureaucrats who are still bearing their offices. All of them should resign until they get their clearance from the courts.

Reports are emerging about data being destroyed that could be used for conviction. This means court won't have sufficient evidence to indict anyone and all these looters will walk free.

Subhan Allah .. Kaira is right to say that no minister should resign. Rather they should be given extra departments and privileges because they looted the country in past and now again 'serving' the country with more zeal and zest.

These guys have reached to that point where shame, disgrace, insult, and similar words have no value.

Lets see if Shaheen Sehbai's today report become valid in coming days or not...... if that becomes true..it will bring tough time for NRO beneficiaries.....

its a good trend tht is present in all good democracies. Sadly not so in pak. The only party encouraging such a trend is N League. 1st they made haji parvez resign(mna frm NA 55) who was a loyal party worker found guilty of misconduct. Next it was shumaila rana mpa who is dauter of a loyal party worker was made to resign n now saeed mehdi. Our problem is that we cant appreciate the positive things done by ppl we dislike.

and all the NRO cases were formed under NS's regime to hold zardari to account fr his corruption. One more thing that we shud appreciate. N it was the general who withdrew the cases under NRO n became party to the corruption.
