I was banned for some reason for 12 hours... not sure why and how, would like to know so next time i will be careful...as far as i know lately i am very angry with Army & co....can that be a reason behind banned or some technical fault? or getting complain against me.
This was the message i had...
"You are banned from this forum until 10 hours52 minutes from now. The person who banned you said the reason was:
Automated ban from Warning moderation helper"

I had the same bann. And my crime was the same , criticizing the "Muqadas Gaaey".
Its despite the fact that i have been addressing the Muqadas Gaaeey with title of "BAHDUR FAUJ" .
U can do character assination of all politicians without any problem but raising a voice against the "MUQADAS GAAEY" won't be tolerated .
So , be carefull.

Discuss forum has been using a warning and automatic ban system for a while. The moderators/ admin can initiate a warning to a user for violating common rule(s) of discussion. These warnings used to go to the email address of the user. Apparently, many users do not check their email and hence oblivious of a pending warning. Three consecutive warnings within a specified time automatically ban the user temporarily.
A feature of Private Message (PM) [ .... and not the Prime Minister] is being introduced. Any warning to a user will now go to the PM Inbox of the user. The user is notified with a "# New Private Message" next to its user ID on main Discuss and each thread page. You can click Private Message link to see your messages.
By clicking "PM this user" link below a user ID on each post you can also communicate with other members privately. You can add more members to a discussion.
Please do clean up your inboxes regularly by unsubscribing Private Message threads.

i think,this is a good feature,which can reduce many misunderstanding and personal attacks on the forum.
I've just had my first experience of the PM system. Once I got the hang of it, I found it quite useful.
And now two qestions please:
1. Is this log in every time we turn on the PC or when we click on to go elsewhere for a moment and then return to be a permanent feature of PKP or is it due to some other factor.
2. How does one put in an avatar above the name of the member?

I see a new upcoming feature, Random topics, is it Featured or random?

2. You can go to gravatar.com, make an account, upload an avatar. Then pkp will automatically pick avatar from gravatar by checking your email address
