I commented well before that Mr. Zardari has tied MQM with a silk thread in such a way that MQM will not be able to go away, though wanting badly. Similarly I still doubt that MQM will get out of coalition because "Is dafa MQM ko takker ka aadmi (zardari) mila hay" ...

But anyway everyone has done his calculations, so let us see what happens next, because now Altaf has given a call to Noon-League.

On the other hand I am also thinking that this all drama could also be staged with the mutual understanding of Zardari and NS. You can analyze that whenever PPP government became in trouble, Mr. NS always helped him indirectly. I feel these both might have agreed internally against Q-league, MQM and in fact they are just utilizing them. You see how much dirt MQM has earned by repeated in/out of government. ANP has been directed to make money and Mr. Asfand is quite busy into that. And finally Q-league :) that has to meet her end.

Hakumat ki barbadi ka din....yeah right!!! I bet not all of Altaf's dogs are barking at the moment. @zingaro, I support the school of thought in your last paragraph. If there is indeed such an understanding between Zardari and NS, good for all of us. It is time that blackmailing outfits like MQM are shown their true identity.

Is it a coincidence that this is coming right after IK starting "Hookamt girao mohim", Shahbaz Sharif calling army generals their brother and all of sudden MQM is going after Zardari/PPP government? OR establishment cooking some dirty game?

Way I see this, senate elections are next year, if Zardari survive till then, then he is good for next election and opposition including N$ will be in trouble. My guess is they want to through out PPP government before next senate elections so is all the establishment actors are lining up.

finnaly MQM boycotted because they could not got their favorite location where they could rigging the votes as they are professional to it since long.

they afriad of being exposed where government planned to have votes in liyari and those areas where MQM have low scope of popularity.and they could not threaten the people as they done on the time election.

Sure PPP is the only saint here.

PPP accuses PML-N of rigging in AJK elections.

MQM took very good step in boycotting elections...

there was no way they could win with such heavy rigging.

People are tired of these empty threats.

MQM should completely part ways with PPP in center and Sindh and fight for things which are important to its constituency. City Govt, KESC, and even new province.

PPP has never done anything good for the urban sindh except for abusing it.

Unfortunately, Rehman Malik will go to London and Zardari will call Altaf and they will 'resolve' everything. Problem is Army and America like Zardari govt, and MQM takes its directions from them.

I dont watch local media channels (Geo, Aaaj etc) because I dont think they are even 1% trustworthy. I do watch some youtube clips of these channels sometimes.

What I have learned from the international channels coverage of these elections is that:

    1. These elections were rigged to the core
    2. We behaved like maniacs and there were actually several deaths at some of the polling stations
    3. India has another reason to tell the world that we are savages who have no right on Kashmir
    4. MQM/PMLN will again show their "**** kushti" tactics by blaming PPP for the rigging and violence, but in reality nothing will ever happen

ISLAMABAD (Online) - President Asif Ali Zardari has decided in principle to change Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah with former provincial Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza as CM to restore law and order in Karachi.

mqm will never never leave the government,
mqm can not sit in opposition at all.
Ppp has joined hands with pmlq, so ppp is not under pressure and black mailing of mqm.

Mqm has already bad relations with pmln and a number of other parties who matters in opposation,
so, rest assure, nothing unusual will happen.
