True inquilaab in Pakistan

    Land Reforms!

There is a ruling elite in Pakistan. This same elite is holding power in army, politics and bureaucracy. All this elite comes from feudal background. Majority of our population in rural areas live like slaves under them.

A true inquilaab will break that power structure by taking away lands from these big land owners and distribute to peasants.

Any other agenda and slogan be it corruption, islami nizam, amreeka kee ghulami and you name it...is all fake. The people who created these problems can not resolve them.

So dont be fooled in the name of these juicy and masala slogans. If you still feel some leader is strong enough to bring land reforms then join them and try to steer their policy in this direction.

    I will settle for reforms.

Tax agriculture Income and you are half way there already. According to Najam Sethi land reforms are already done and now the land has been divided to many families. I don't know how true that is but if that's the case then I don't know what you could do except for taxing the agriculture income.

You are right that the land has been divided within families.
The lands were originally granted by sultanat-e-inglishiaa to its paaltoo. So it is tricky, but you have to find a way.

Secondly, in Sind, Balochistan and Southern Punjab there are still thousands of acres belonging to individual. You can still do land reforms. There is still lots of room for it. The land limit should be reduced to say atmost 500 acres per individual.

PTI unfortunately is not active in this regard and is infact joining hands with these angraiz kay paltoo.

Remember, true popularity comes from rural areas and their true and real problem is wadaira shahi.

This is the criteria of Inquilaab.

If your inquilaab does not take away lands from these feudals. If your inquilaab is not against jageerdaar.

THEN YOU ARE ONLY PLAYING WITH AWAMI EMOTIONS!!!!!

"A true inquilaab will break that power structure by taking away lands from these big land owners and distribute to peasants."

This sounds too much like Zimbabwe and I do not feel it is the right way to go. Inqailab is not a fast and furious process that will cure all our ills overnight; it is a highly endothermic process that needs the energy and effort of everyone.

As some others have suggested; tax the big land owners and agriculturalist properly and give incentives to the small farmers to stand on their own feet and earn an independent living without the need for charity and handouts. If the old school feudal landlord are not able to understand that time is up for their generational grip on the nation's throat, then they will just be swept away by the people who have just had enough.

    @Sting,

    Big difference.
In zimbabwe, the biggest land owners were white who had an option of migrating out of Zimbabwe which they did along with their technology.

In Pakistan, one they probably wont migrate and second, even if they do, the technology and technology companies are not owned by these feudals, infact the technolgy we use in Pakistan involve a bull and 2 sticks. So the replacement is very easy.

Overnight change does not happen in social behaviors and they require some time. For example for people to become honest and employ good governance will take time and is a gradual process but such laws can be and should be made in a reasonable amount of time.

PTI is not talking about land reforms and to me the criteria of inquilaab is awami empowerment by land distribution. So their inquilaab sounds fake to me...

I very much like to see land reforms in Pakistan, and agree with bsobaid suggestion of MAXIMUM 500 Acres (or 20 Murabba, or 4000 Kanals) per individual...along with other suggestions as pointed out by insaftak and stingingnettle.

"In zimbabwe, the biggest land owners were white..."

But they are in Pakistan too! It's the heat and bright sunshine that has given them a perma-tan. Otherwise they live on their own little world of high walls and high life.

The existing feudal system in this region was established by the colonial British government. The high class criminals who supported the British colonial rule were rewarded big lands. The purpose was to divide the population into small pockets and rule over it with the help of the local feudal class. India abolished that leftover feudal system in 1952 and thus freed its population from the hobnails of the feudal class.

The colonial feudal class are still ruling over our country and hence suppressing the nation.

The nation was fooled twice. Once in 1977 by PNA leaders and then in 2007 by Lawyers. The leaders of both the movements showed skies to the public. The nation must scrutinize the characters of the leaders prior to supporting them for any revolutionary movement.

Both of the fraud movements costed us thousands of priceless lives.
