TV Cable Operator's Cheating

    Look What Local Cable TV Operators are doing with satellite channels in Sialkot-Pakistan and Control Authorities are sleeping. Cable Operators are showing local ads on Satellite channels shown on top and bottom of screen.

    Once I complained to the owner of an Indian store (Little Market in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) that the quality of rented videotapes (pirated) was really bad and I was not going pay if it happened again. The alternate suggestion was to install a VCR-TV setup in store so that the customer could check the quality before renting.

    Mr. Little Market showed his arrogance, which he carried, from the society of shortage with a statement لینا ھے تو لو ورنہ چلتے بنو [take it or leave it]. As the Little Market was only choice in town I stopped watching Indian movies all together until the advent of DVD. I did not miss a bit for over a decade. Later on, I did notice that LM had setup a TV-VCR for customer to pre-view.

    If you guys do not like local ads on your cable TV, just disconnect it. Only the consumer power can fix these people. If you cannot use this power and cannot convince your friends and neighbor to do the same. Then you deserve to be forced to watch گاۓ سوپ اشتہار in the center of the TV screen while your favorite soap opera is going on.
