where are our security agencies now we are constrain for this they are incompetent could they realise who behind this because they already know about this kind of attack done in islamabad.are institution is more valuable they our corrupt leader's so pls pull out the security from this leader's and put on the highly presitage educational institution.thanks

Justifies the operation in Sawat and now its time to clean Waziristan. Talibans are the lowest form of a human being known to mankind. Its time for some social darwanism and eradication of these terrorists from Pakistan!

When india was in Russian camp he was enemy of America and was also enemy of Pakistan. Similarly when Afghans were in American camp they were friend of Pakistan.

When India switched camps from USSR to US, our foreign policy also started to go towards "friendship" -starting from Nawaz govt. Similarly when afghans resisted US regional plans they became enemy so Pak also made a U-Turn and those who were once heroes became "scum of the earth"

So what is our policy or vision if any? Or admit we are a satellite state and slaves following someone else's policies.

We have had historic tensions with Afghanistan since 1947. Afghanistan was one of two countries who voted against our entry to the UN and refused to recognize the Durand line as a legal border.

It is in our strategic interest to maintain a peaceful relationship with India due to their size and influence in the reigon.

also i've read kleveman's book and while i concede that natural resources are a factor i don't think that nation's blindly construct foreign policy purely based on resource acquistion and control.

First of all our -Muslim- history doesn't start from 1947.

Tensions were there even with NWFP that is why MA Jinnah dissolved the govt.

Secondly, why look at the satellite states that we know are slave to masters? Why not analyze the real players and see their plans and executions?

i really don't have words for you. my sister's coursemate just came out of a 4 hour long operation and the trauma i saw on the faces of people there is not explainable in words. and you think this is a joke.

the economic costs involved with de stabilizing a region do not appear to be justifiable - it makes logical sense to work towards a stable region in order to provide safe access to resources

My friend, destabilizing region is the goal. How else can one justify huge military presence? Focus on New Great Game. Things revolve around that. Don't follow the satellites, follow the central power.

Their stability is based on "free" trade that requires puppets to make it happen. If someone talks about sovereignty then it becomes thorn for them and they will do all in their power to remove it.

Case in point: Saudi is a island of stability for them for long time with the House of Saud. Late King Faisal started asserting some level of sovereignty. He was shunted aside thru murder by one of the royal family agent. The country is back to stability. The defense deals with Saudi are horrendous. Trillions of dollars worth of arms. For what? God knows? The F5, F15, F16 are already rusted and time for new F18's for Saudi. It is already in the news.

Please ponder over the "stability" terminology of the US military industrial complex.

If your thesis is correct that implies that the central power (and i assume you mean the US)is willing to incur a vast and undefinable cost by deploying security across a destable region in order to control resources.

It makes much more logical and rational sense to contribute towards stabilizing the region and incur reduced and definable costs by trading with popular and pro-trade regimes in the region

As it appears to me all of the above are experts when ever a terrorist attempt is successful. Their expert opinion is evident from their posts.

The bottom line is who ever they were or are, are not in favour of Pakistan or Pakistanis otherwise why such indiscriminate killings!

What if they are motivated by forces that are anti-Pakistani! No you do not want to think about this! Or do you?

As I said, the region was stabilized but implementation as planned didn't work out. So idea was to replace the govt with someone who is willing to cooperate.

so, pray for her maghfirah, and pray for her family. may Allah grant her jannah and may Allah give patience to her family.
