Type in Roman Urdu, get output in اردو

    الله آپ کو بوھت اچھا رکھے.....آپ نے اچھا لنک دیا ہے.

    لیکن اب مسلہ یہ ہے کے نہ ہماری انگلش اچھی تھی اور امریکا میں اکر اردو بھی بھول گے ہیں اب

    وہ کیا بوہتے ہیں کوا چلا ہنس کے چال اپنی بھی بھول گیا

    @All,

    Instead of typing in Roman Urdu use the following Google utility. You can then Copy and Paste here.
    http://www.google.com/transliterate/indic/Urdu

    Initial paste on Discuss post may not look right but it turns out fine after you click Send Post.

    Side effect of writing all in اردو: Search engines are not well equiped for Urdu text. Also, few internet users have capability to type and search اردو articles

    You can use this link to write Roman Urdu like:

    Adnan Arshad Mansoori bachpan me siRhion se nichay gir gaya tha. Sar par shadeed chote ayi thi.

    And voila! It will appear as:

    عدنان ارشد منصوری بچپن میں سیڑھیوں سے نیچے گر گیا تھا۔ سر پر شدید چوٹ آئی تھی۔

    Have some mercy on the English language.
    انگریزی زبان کے ساتھ سر عام بد فعلی بند کرو۔۔۔۔۔یہ قیامت کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک ھے۔

    Additional trick:
    When you enter a SPACE at the end of a Roman Urdu word, the text chages from Roman to Urdu.

    If you do not get the desired Urdu from what you typed, press two backspaces, the tool should give you choices. Just select the appropriate translation.
