Today US Ambassador met COAS Gen Kiyani. Although the reason given in the ISPR press release is that this meeting was to discuss matters of mutual interests
But
I suspect something else. In the climate of heightened political tensions and ongoing fight between govt and judiciary, there is something cooking in the background and this meeting is related to that.
What do you think guys.

Generals including COAS should not be in direct contact but through Ministry of Defense and that also through arranged liaison by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Now since 1999 every tom, d*i*c*k and harry is in touch with foreign diplomats, (including those who cannot be classified as mainstream politicians) a condition for any uniformed person not to be a part of but avoid.

Pak army is one of the biggest receptive of US aid, they want to make sure money well spent. And beggars care less about things like national pride and rules of engagement. For them what count most is how can can fork more!!
