U.S. operation was conducted as a self-defense. Russian FM

    MOSCOW, May 12 (Xinhua) -- The United States had a firm judicial base on the killing of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a Moscow newspaper on Thursday.

    According to The Moscow News, Lavrov said the U.S. operation was conducted as a self-defense action in accordance with the UN Charter.

    "No one in the world has any doubts that the terrible terror attacks on September 11, 2001 and others which were all masterminded by bin Laden," Lavrov said, stressing that al-Qaida has been responsible for the terror attacks in Russia too.

    For years, Russian authorities have long suspected the al-Qaida has been involved in terror attacks in the volatile North Caucasus region.

    What a ridiculous statement to make! Tell this M*RON even FBI never put him on the their Most Wanted list for 9/11
    FBI: No Hard Evidence Connecting Bin Laden to 9/11

    He was only "wanted in connection with the August 1998 bombings of US Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya"

    BTW: THAT Russia would say so is no surprise because they are doing the same so this statement means NOTHING. They are only covering their own @ss. For example: Right after US "got NOsama", on May 4 Russia claimed they got their own Goldstein:
    Russia kills top al-Qaeda militant in Chechnya
    (Of course no one paid any attention and Putin is feeling a jealous that Obama is getting all the attention)

    yes,
    USA has a lot threats from all weak, poor and underdeveloped nations and countries):

    They killed all original citizens of USA and came over on their homeland but killer’s psychology is still working under different titles.

    Russia is attempting to portray Russian terrorism against Chechen as a "War on Terror". lolzzz
    Terrorists around the world want to join "American War on terror".

    Russian army is selling rocket launcher to Chechen fighters in 15 dollars only.

    Russia cannot defeat us we are build with steel. Chechen fighters
