    I propose this new name for Punjab. It is only fair that "big brother" follow the lead.

    After division of Punjab, none of the portions qualifies to be called as Punjab.
    East Punjab sitting in India and West Punjab of Pakistan, no more hold the beds of Five Rivers, Satluj, Biaas, Ravi, Chanab and Jhelum.
    The very DNA of Punjab has been changed in 1947.

    Interesting point. It means Punjab is named for ethnicity.

    Based on the logic of "Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa", Punjab should be called "Seraiki Punjab" and Sindh should be called "Muhajir Sindh".

    I heard from someone that Punjabi is a dialect not a language while the name Punjab was given to it due to its fertile lands having five rivers flowing in it....Am I right????and same goes for Sindh as Sindh was named after the river Indus...

    Since there are no more five rivers in Punjab, why is name of Punjab still valid?
