You guys must have already came across this news. This is a very significant achievement by NASA. One of the biggest mystries. What important to know is that this discovery was first made by India couple of months ago. Indian scientist working at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) discovered water through maiden lunar mission "Chandrayaan". This was also in the news few months back, and NASA basically just verified it.

I would say India, I guess. But NASA being so dominant in space, no one really believed the first one until it was verified by them.

It is an American citizen (of Indian ethnicity) working at an American association using American facilities and technology. How in the blue hell would this be considered 'India's' achievement which is like 10,000 miles away worshipping the moon as one of their gods?
