In some of the threads that I have initiated on this web site, some people
-( Abdur Rahman etc)- have rejected the names and the achievements of non-Muslims by saying that those things do not count as these people were Kuffar.
Who is a Kafir anyway ?
1. Are the Red Indians-( Native Americans)- Kafir in 1492 toll 1900 ? How can that be since no Muslim had contacted them and they certainly did not know about Islam.
2. India is a Hindu majority country of over one billion people most of them are not Muslims.
Shall we label all the children who are born in those families as Kafir too.
And how do we reconcile the problem of the Hindus who were born in Hindu households?
3. In Pakistan there is a sizable Ahmadiya community which has been declared non-Muslim by the parliament. Are they also Kafir ? and what about the kids born in those households who only have access to Ahmadiya doctrine and do not know any better
4. Same question for the Jewish children and Christian Children and Buddhist children.
If Abdur Rahaman rejects the “ Kuffar” as such then may I ask him and others-
Is it OK to use inventions of the Kuffar ? Oh like traveling in Boeing and Airbus airplanes?
And using gadgets invented and built by Kuffar such as Cars, computers, trains etc.
It was my understanding that only God knows who is good and who is bad and he keeps that knowledge to himself.
So who is anyone calling anyone else Kafir ?
