This is a never old issue.
    Till we find her killers.
    Mahsood was only a tool.

Now it is just close to know who killed her. Persons at media looked close to some information and their way of talking and questioning show that they have now some information.
    But read this news
'Limited mandate' hinders UN probe into Bhutto's killing

    Thursday, 31 Dec, 2009
KARACHI: The UN probe into the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto has hit a road block as the government denied access to the incumbent Army Chief and other top serving military generals for interrogation.
The UN had appointed a three-member inquiry commission to determine the facts and circumstances under which Bhutto was assassinated on December 27, 2007.
According to the terms of reference of the investigation, the UN had demanded that the commission should enjoy compelete cooperation from the government.
The commission wanted access to the Chief of Army Staff Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, former ISI Chief Lt.Gen Nadeem Taj and former Military Intelligence Chief Lt.Gen Nadeem Ejaz Mian among other top officials of the intelligence agencies.
The UN probe commission's terms of reference said 'the government shall comply with the requests of the commission for assistance in collecting the required information and testimony, and shall provide it with the necessary facilities to enable it to discharge its mandate.'
A top government official confirmed to DawnNews that a written request had been received from the UN commission to interrogate military officials, including the incumbent Army Chief during the investigation process.
The official added that it was after thorough consultation by the government that the UN commission was informed in writing that access to abovementioned officials cannot be granted to them. –DawnNews

LARKANA: Naheed Khan, a close confidant and political secretary of Benazir Bhutto, said on Sunday that Pakistan People’s Party workers were waiting for exposure of the elements responsible for the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, adding that further delay in unearthing the facts could create problems for the party.

Talking to journalists in Garhi Khuda Bukhsh Bhutto, Naheed Khan said that it was surprising that the assassins of Benazir Bhutto had not been unmasked yet.

“The basic issue is not the identity of the assassins but the exposure of the financers of the murder and other characters involved in the conspiracy,” she said.

Posing a question, she said that if the present government failed to unveil the faces of the conspirators, who would do it.

Answering a question, she said that the government had made a political blunder by declining to defend the National Reconciliation Ordinance.

UN team to submit BB murder probe report by March 30
KHAIRPUR: The UN Commission team – probing the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto – will submit its report to the government by March 30, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Abdullah Hussain Haroon said on Sunday. Talking to reporters, Haroon asserted that former president Ayub Khan “sold out” to India the three rivers branching out from the Indus, which is the reason for the acute water shortage being faced by Sindh. He said the people of Sindh would have to emigrate after 20 years due to the non-availability of water, and the province’s water supply would dry up in three decades time. There is no reason to increase the height of the walls of the Tarbela and Mangla dams, he added. Haroon said the people of Sindh had a right to the province’s coal resources, and therefore the royalty from coal must be given to the Sindh government. app

am sure that security was not the only reason as told in this news by the Dunya TV.

BB’s murder: UN probe team reaches Islamabad
A four-member UN team probing Benazir Bhutto’s murder has reached Islamabad today.
The UN team, led by Morocco Alka, would meet important personalities during their visit. The team would also visit Sindh where it would visit important places and meet key people. Earlier, the UN team’s visit was postponed twice due to security risks.

Must see at previous news and try to read behind the lines. I was in hope that UN team could do anything but now it seems that the gang behind the death of Benazir Bhutto is using their friend Talibans to stop this probe.

UN team cancels Pakistan visit amid security fears Updated at: 2031 PST, Thursday, February 04, 2010
KARACHI: Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon said that the UN Commission probing assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto had refused to arrive in Pakistan due to security fears.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he expressed the concerns that the government’s assurance to provide proper security to the UN team was not being implemented, As a result the UN inquiry team has refused to visit the country, he said.

“A game is being played against Pakistan in the name of Mullah Omar, al-Qaeda and Taliban,” Haroon opined, continuing our internal situation would further worsen if operation moved to Balochistan after NWFP.

“We need to rethink what we got after fighting for the cause of United States for 35 years,” he commented.

    Don't start blaming Zardari game.
The killers look more stronger than Zardari.

Considering that after nearly 2 years of PPP govt. in which her husband is the President, and that no substantial progress has been made in the investigation, something smells fishy. Either the PPP govt. is pathetically inept and irresponsible or some elements within the PPP conspired to kill her. If the UN can't do investigation, whats stopping the Govt. from doing it on its own. Their is some degree of complicity from the PPP.

ISI, Musharraf, Taliban etc etc do not benefit from BBs death.

There's only one person who has really benefited from the death of Benazir. We all know who he is and he is 'shutting up' people nowadays :)

  10. Well, I am not fan of Mr Zardari, i really believe that he is top corrupt political personality in pakistan after Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry brotherons,as long benefiting from death of Benazir, that is none sense to blame him for that, financialy and politically, benefits alway go to close relatives of any leader after his/her death. for this reason to blame him or creating any non sense suspicion make no sense.

America killed BB period.Cheney hit squad was resposible for the assasination, she was finally coming arround from the darkside of evil american empire.Too late for her but
That was the last nail in the coffin of our slave master relationship with the crusading christian zionist empire.

You refer here to Seymour Hersch's investigative report but if Cheney's SS style squad or Blackwtater killed BB then this theory is contrary to the whole saga of US-Musharraf-BB deal which would have been more beneficial to the US than the current setup. Plus, his squad targeted figures lower stature than that of BB who complicate US covert operations such as in Afghanistan or Iraq. BB was a much higher target (ex PM of large country), if it was Cheney's job, this would have known in CIA or by Bush or in other agencies which would make things difficult at the highest level. Finally, if Hersch could find about a squad then he could find about their finest work which he did not.

    @choosy!

I totally agree with you. Meray hisab se tu "no one has killed has Benazir, as no one has killed Mir Murtaza"

Guys, no one is intrested and capble of finding the real motives and means behind these acts. At this point I must quote a say of my beloved leader, "Mitti Paaoo... ASXZFE JOIUOJK KJSDFJAIOE DASDSERFDSAF ZXEREFAE" Unfortunately, there area not enough symbols to express the full version of Ch Shujat's say.
