Who really was the killer of Benazir? I am not sure if this pole has been conducted before. Was it:

    1. Sharif Brothers: So they could end the Bhutto Dynasty once and for all?

    2. Altaf Hussein: Bhutto was first attacked in Karachi where the assasination attempt was unsuccessful.

    3. Musharraf: Benazir was the most serious threat to his throne.

    4. Asif Zardari: Benazir always kept a close eye on Zardari's corruption spree. He wanted absolute power and control without anyone watchdogging him.

    5. The talibans/ extremists: Well these talibans/ extremists dont really need a reason to kill/hurt anyone. Why not Benazir?

Well i think the people, who did not want Benazir to come in power, killed her because they knew that if she becomes PM, then she may open case of nuclear proliferation and an open trial of Dr. Khan. This could lead to unveil many hidden "honorable" people of our country.

that tape was a rubbish idea to blame mehsood for benazir murder... Telenor pakistan tells your exact location but our agencies are unable to detect where are the people sitting and calling to each other using mobile phones.. isn't that pathetic?

i disagree with that karachilover... that was merely a darama which Birg (R) Javed was presenting in front of media by playing audios of Mehsoos people ... In fact it was a high level conspiracy and many honorable are involved... One thins is sure that this will remain a mystery as Mr. Asif Ali also does not want this to be disclosed... Not even a single solid effort has been made so far ..No FIR and pursuance by PPP while they are in power now ... Damn on these politicians...

    1. Mohtarma exactly named three persons in her letter to Dictator Musharaf.

    2. She wrote an email to her friends which was only to be disclosed if she was assassinated. And unfortunately that happent and what we found in that email..."Musharaf threatening BB of consequences if she tried to go against him".

    3. On 18th Oct when she is welcomed by million of Pakistanis in Karachi, two bomb blasts occur causing deaths of over 150 people.

    4. Immediately after that blasts within hours the scene of crime is washed with heavy nozzles of Fire birgade.

    5. No FIR is allowed to be launched from the victim's side.

    6. Mohtarma does press conference next day and name three persons. IB Chief Brig. Shah, Pervaiz Illahi, and CM Arbab Rahim. But thn government do nothing at all to investigate these culprits and do not even include their names on the FIR when the victim herself is accusing them.

    7. Afterwards continuously she is threatened with life threats but her security is negleted.

    8. On 27th Dec she the culprits finally assassinate her.

    9. Again the scene of crime is washed in less thn couple of hour!

    10. She is burried without autopsy. (However, some claim Government did her autopsy but that report is never to be disclosed.)

    11. Not only hers but the other 20 ppl who died along with her were also denied the autopsy for God knows what reasons.

    12. The government claim she died not from bullet, not from pallets of Bomb but from level of vehicle's top roof!

Now who is the killer? Is it a mystery to solve who killed Mohtarma?

who is the biggest beneficiary of this murder?

    @Beenai

Your Formulas of who is beneficiary is very valid and the mind set you have can solve lots of mysterious killings of whole world.

    Very very simple.

Who was beneficiary of Zia killing, Ghulam Ishaq Khan, Aslam baig, Nawaz Sharif and Ijazul Haq.
Who was beneficiary of Indra Gandhi killing off course Rajiv Gandi
Who is beneficiary of Rajiv Killing off course Sonia Ghandi and Rahul Gandhi

Always catch the sons if their father is killed because they are the direct beneficiaries.

Very good first kill Benazir then blame Asif Zardari, Bilawal, Bakhtawar and Asifa.
Hang Ghinwa because she became leader after Murtaza Killing.

Moderator Beenai is always short of beenai when it comes to PPP because his mind is paralyzed with anti PPP phobia.

I'm fascinated by the political fanatics in Pakistan....they won't accept accept anything even being spoken about their dear leader....kinda goes against the spirit of their democratic party doesn't it? Frankly, I"m thrilled that Bibi is dead. Now we need Altaf, Zardari, Fazlur Rehman, Nawaz and the rest of these scum too.

It's a cruel fate of Bhutto family.

BB never tried to investigate and resolve the mystery of her bro's death. Likewise BB's hubby is avoiding any serious effort to hunt her assassin, given that both BB and her hubby enjoyed / enjoying the prime posts in the country's constitutional hierarchy.

Beenai, why is Zardari at #4? Do you find his name at number4 wrong because he shouldnt be in the list? or you believe his name should be at #1?

I dont know who killed Benazir. Zardari reaped all the benefits of her death so it does make him an obvious suspect. Even if Zardari wasn't the president and was living in Pakistan as a common man with no political affiliations, he would have left so many questions unanswered. I mean I am NO psychologist but did he EVER even pretend to be sad at Benazir's death? What was the purpose of this "kinship" politics? Bilawal "Bhutto" Zardari? A couple of months ago Zardari was seen shouting out claims that he knows who killed bibi? Well if he does, when does he plan to disclose his/her name? Instead of flirting with Sarah Palin and insisting on some warm and cozy hugs, couldnt he have worked just a little bit harder on finding out the culprits?

I still dont know who killed Benazir but yes Zardari will be at #4 for common reasons known to all Pakistanis.

I can understand how unfortunate are you that Your expectations were ruined when after the Shahadat of our beloved BB,…. Asif Zardari our beloved leader came and reunited PPP and Now he is president of Pakistan this is more unfortunate for you. Just watch Shahid Mardood,s TV program and other NEWS paper articles after the attack on BB convoy in Karachi all unfortunate sick people now blaming Zardari were Blaming BB herself for Kararchi attack and saying that was engineers by BB herself. After Pindi attack the first SMS out was again pointing at BB.

One may not know the actual murderers of BB even if PPP in Power but the real killers of BB are the thoughts who first Blamed BB and now are haunting Zardari.

I have already given my opinion that this was a high level conspiracy to kill Benazir.I also said that many honorable people were part of this doctrine to get rid of her because of her decisions which were not acceptable to the then government, USA and some hidden faces. But there are certain facts or coincidences which are associated with this murder.

    1. Ghulam Mustafa Khar said long ago that Benazir should take care of her as she might be killed while visiting Punjab.

    2. Narmeen Khan (friend of Benazir) disclosed that the expression of Mr. Zardari were quite normal when she met her just after the murder of Benazir.

3.Mr. Zardari declined government request for the autopsy.

4.Birg (R) Javed held press conference explaining illogical possibilities' occurrence.

    5. Crime Scene was immediately washed while it was an evening time and there were no kites, vultures, etc to attend the dead bodies.

Similarly there are so many things which have not been answered and will not be. Mr. President says he knows about the killers but I bet with you that he will never disclose like Ijaz ul Haq who used to claim to disclose the conspiracy against the murder of zia ul haq...

    Posted 3 years ago on 04 May 2009 10:45 #
  22. Hameed Gul ordered to wash the crime scene immediately. Taliban asked Govt. not to do autopsy of 20 other people. Hameed Gul is again involved when Govt. composed of PPP is not finding Govt. Officials who ordered to wash the crime scene.

Taliban asked Rehman malik to run away from crime scene leaving his duty. and perhaps Sufi Muhammad is pressurizing zardari not to tell the names of the killers which he has admitted in one of his statements.

Always FIR is written against the persons who's name are nominated in a dying person statement. Still So Called UNO investigation has not begun and if so happen, no person they will nominate but will point out security laps.
Matter between 2 states are setteled by the UNO. Mombai Attack Cases should be investigated by the UNO. Matters within the country jurisdicition are liable to be investigated/trialed in Pakistan by the Pakistan Government against whome, the BB has written their names in his dying statements.

  24. Zardari is the person who killed banazir. He is a wicked person. He lies about any and everything. See how he has dealt in Pakistani Politics. Other Politician of Pakistan are now far away from him in Politics. Even the Nawaz Sharif, two times prime minister of Pakistan is far way behind him in politics. In our Pakistan, Politics means dirty games I beleive. And no one can be above zardari in the Pakistani politics. He has successfully created an environment in his favour after BB's death. Think again, if BB would be living today, he would have not any place in Pakistani Politics anywhere. All this is the game of Power and money my dear. And Pakistani Politicians can go to any extent to achieve this. I don't have any hope with other political parties in my beloved Pakistan including PML-N as they would do the same what the current ardari government is doing once they get into power. May God clear pakistan from our dirty politicians and bring good persons in politics. Amin

If you have any understanding of the structure of Military and how it operates, than it should be in your knowledge also that PK Military is based on same lines as its former colonial master-Britain's army and the armies of other former colonial states.

The takeover of an army general in not a one man show. In fact a whole panel of both senior and junior generals is involved. Who should take over is a mutual decision. It may be influenced from abroad, and that is however another matter. I belive that former army generals have been invited by the civil leaders or provided a circumstantial opportunity to take over the reigns of power. The results have be devastating and Pakistan will take a very very long time to recover from the outcome of such consecutive military rules in Pakistan.

General Hamid Gul cannot be an active role player in the sad demise of BB, and therefore be taken out of the picture. If he had any value left he would have been in Saudi Arabia instead of General Akhtar, another former ISI General.

ISI is one of the many wings of the Pakistan Intelligence Organization. This is the only Intelligence Wing that was formed to keep an 'eye' on political leadership and activists in and out of Pakistan. As far as The Secret Operations or Operational Intelligence is concerned, ISI is just another ' hathi key dant, khaney key our, dekhaney key our'.

Very Sadly, the Bhutto family has been elliminated as results of planned assasinations that may include close associates of Shaheed ZA Bhutto, but in the case of BB, with certainity her close assosiates and her spouse played pivital role in her assasination.

Intelligence Community is well versed in planned assasination, they call elliminations. They create realistic situations and circumstances. BB was enticed to stand up at the very precise moment. She was hit by a highpowered pallet fired from a compression mechanism, by a snipper.

If you look at the side her assasin is firing at her, and her head jerks exactly the opposite, not in line and direction of the bullet fired, if there ever was a bullet and not a blank.

A temple is the most sensitive area for a far off assasin. Secondly the heart or the solarplex is a second alternative. Did you find answers who were the people who suddenly appeared infront of her vehicle, and who brought or led them there? And they were the very people for whom BB poked her head out of the vehcle, her only protection.

Asif had no remorse, nothing showed on his face. What ever shows cannot be called emotion of saddnes, a sense of loss. His body language is so obvious. Her will is a fake. He side lined all senior leadership of PPP and brought forward those opportunists new commers to the PPP, who were never favourites of BB. He is the sole benifitior of BB's political as well as other inheritence. Anti Pakistani forces who are after the resources of Pakistan-in Baluchistan and of Afghanistan, very swiftly switched from BB to Asif Zardari, when BB opted for the freedom of CJ. NRO was just a precaution in advance that included Asif as well as Altaf.

Rehman Malik is as corrupt as Zardari himself. He is the one and only main player since this sad event happened.Zardari quoted that he knows who killed BB. Every killer knows what he has done. Next time when you watch him speak, do watch him closely.

    This time you surprised me.
MQM could be used but this is not MQM style .
MQM could not take such great risk.
MQM people could not be trusted by any big one.
It is almost proven that Bait ullah Mahsood contacted some people and spent some money for this attack.
Surprisingly all persons linked with Mahsood and the killers have been killed. Same is the story of Karachi's 18th October attack.
Person or persons who spent money for these two attacks and made some arrangements for these attacks are still hidden.
I am always of of the thinking that these attacks were made to threaten Shaheed B.B. and workers of PPP. It is also possible that some third party took the benefit.
The all efforts to implement Mush more and more are efforts to save some one else.
I could never understand if the Mush was knowing about the conspiracy of these attacks or not.

The PPP provided additional security for Ms. Bhutto. The Commission recognizes the heroism of individual PPP supporters, many of whom sacrificed themselves to protect her; however, the additional security arrangements of the PPP lacked leadership and were inadequate and poorly executed.

    Face the truth, Musharraf
    by Mark Siegel

I was with Benazir Bhutto on Sept. 25, 2007, when she received a call from Gen. Pervez Musharraf, who was then Pakistan’s president. She was visibly shaken when she hung up the phone: Musharraf had threatened her with dire consequences if she returned to Pakistan to lead her Pakistan Peoples Party in the upcoming elections, where she was the major threat to defeat him. Bhutto quoted him as saying that she would be responsible for what happened to her.

Three weeks later, she returned to Pakistan after eight years in exile. She was greeted in Karachi by 3 million people — and two suicide assassin bombers. Within hours of her arrival, a failed assassination attempt took the lives of 170 of her party workers. Afterward, she emailed me to say that if anything happened to her, she would hold Musharraf responsible. Two months later, she was dead.

Earlier this month, Pakistan’s government, after a four-year investigation, requested that Interpol issue an international warrant for the arrest of Musharraf for Bhutto’s murder. He has been summoned before the Supreme Court of Pakistan tomorrow. No one expects him to appear.

She was assassinated on Dec. 27, 2007 as she left a campaign event in Rawalpindi. Despite the fact that Musharraf had ordered intense security teams to guard two other former prime ministers who were his political supporters, Bhutto was provided with virtually no security at all.

The crime scene in Rawalpindi was almost immediately washed down, with forensic evidence hosed away by the police. No witnesses were interrogated. No autopsies took place. Nor did an investigation.

But, finally, the conspiracy is unraveling.

For one, a United Nations tribunal issued a blistering 70-page report essentially holding the Musharraf government responsible for Bhutto’s murder. The UN concluded that the failure of the police to effectively investigate Bhutto’s assassination, and the destruction of evidence, was deliberate and ordered from above. The UN also found that the assassination would have been prevented if the authorities had provided adequate security.

Picking up the mantle of the UN report, the government of Pakistan formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate the assassination. The JIT concluded its report last month, and its conclusions are not ambiguous: Musharraf, working with two police officers who reported back to him, knew of the plotting of the assassination, was aware of the timing and personally ordered the destruction of evidence.

Those officers facilitated the terrorists who devised the multifaceted elements of the conspiracy, from conception to execution to coverup. Musharraf’s failure to provide security to Bhutto, despite his full knowledge that an assassination would be attempted, all but ensured that the conspiracy would succeed.

The report concludes: “JIT is of the firm opinion that already established security breach and destruction of evidence on the day of assassination . . . is part of a wider conspiracy to eliminate Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto from the political scene before the elections. It is clearly evident that conspirators had assurances and support of the then-president.”

The motive was clear — the elimination of the iconic leader of the country’s dominant party, which seemed on the verge of a landslide victory.

Bhutto had believed that Musharraf was complicit in the attempt to take her life in Karachi by not providing her enough security. In fact, his involvement in the Karachi and Rawalpindi attacks was much more direct and insidious.

Both the UN and JIT reports blame the Musharraf government for the assassination of Bhutto. The government has begun criminal proceedings against the seven accused, including Musharraf. Yet despite all of this, Musharraf has spent the last four years touring the world making high-paid speeches and living royally in residences around the globe.

But there is hope: If and when Interpol issues a red warrant against Musharraf, the police of all 190 Interpol member countries will have the authority to arrest him.

Meanwhile, the democratically elected Pakistan Peoples Party government (which Bhutto would have led) is in its fifth year in office, and will be the first civilian Pakistani government to complete a full term. The 1973 constitution has been cleansed of the arbitrary powers seized by military dictators. There is an independent judiciary, a robust civil society and an energetic, uncensored press.

Benazir Bhutto famously said that “democracy was the greatest revenge.” We have given her that democracy. Now it is time to give her justice.

Perhaps on 18th October and 27th December conspiracy was not aimed to kill B.B. It was perhaps aimed to stop her for election movement . On 27th December either some third party (may be a foreign hand) took the advantage of this conspiracy or she was killed unexpectedly .
