    I am sure that PML-N will clean sweep in 2013 general elections.

    The PML-N may well win the elections. But it does not matter whom the stupid and illiterate people of Pakistan vote for.

    The great Imran Khan is the only hope for Pakistan and our brave army will ensure that he becomes the figure-head under whom the army can complete its agenda of development of Pakistan.

    No question of any party winning this elections but either the PML N or the PPP is going to emerge with the largest number of seats.Right now PML N chances looks brighter and the PPP may lose some seats due to the incumbency factor.

    I understand that MQM is the natural ally of PTI given the common infatuation with PMLN. So it is encouraging to see this solidarity on the discussion forum as well.

    But it is really not a good strategy to pin on PML-N the one badge of honor that both MQM and PTI have been proudly wearing since their hatching, that is being a faithful product of defenders of our frontiers at GHQ.

    Just curious how did you calculate 20-25 seats for ANP and 35-45 seats for Q? ANP had their best election last time when they won 13 seats. Most believe they would be wiped out from the KPK province. Also, 80% of Q League cadres have left the party for PMLN, PTI, and even PPP. I would be surprised if they even reach double digits. You're way generous to PPP as well.

    PPP & Q league have unofficially merged together and there were even talks of fighting election on a same neutral election symbol. So after Next election there won't be any PMLQ. As for ANP in KPK,it would be greatly marginalized if not completely wiped out.PTI might be able to secure ANP's liberal votes. Religious parties & PMLN might get many seats as current ANP/PPP govt there have been a complete failure.

    On national level every party including PPP is trying to marginalize PMLN by covertly and overtly aiding and supporting its rivals.

    I had few discussions with political analyst in Pakistan's political head quarter Lahore. Things have become worse for PTI in Lahore and neighboring cities who have great eye on politics. PML(N) has clear edge in these area and PTI and PPP+PML(Q) are way behind in these areas. Some of the South Punjab areas PML(N) do not have strong candidate like Bhawalpur, Bhawalnager and DG Khan. If they get few good strong in I am sure they can have up to 120 seats in center. It is a debate and my opinion is limited, others may differ. PTI I wish can still win up to 20 seats to form a good group in centre.

    PML(N) has made themselves an anti establishment party last 20 years or so. We are not in early 90's now. Chaudri Nisar is trying his best to make PML(N) acceptable but ISI will favor PML(N) out of equation. Establishment has played many drammas to stop PML(N) since Musharaf era. International key players like Saudia are trying to convince Nawaz to have soft hand on ISI. I do thing Nawaz should try to carry all stakeholders together and bring Pakistan out of this trouble time.

    Very good argument. I have no doubt that any dark forces in the establishment would want a PM like NS as opposed to IK because the former can easily be controlled as in the past.

    Imran Khan took the ground underneath PMLN's feet and they ran back to their old masters and sought forgiveness.

    But where I disagree is that now even agencies can't do anything - people have decided and they will tell everybody in the elections. PTI will clean sweep.

    So far, the only big change that I can see is PTI might be able to gain majority in Pakhtunkhwa and form a provincial government.
    PML-N will keep control of Punjab and PPP along with MQM will keep Sindh.

    The amazing thing is that despite total failure and incompetence of PPP, it may along with the coalition partners (MQM,PML-Q,ANP,JUI-F) be able to control the center, thanks to the politics of electable candidates in Pakistan.

    There is still couple of months left in elections, in politics things can change overnight.
    This could be a very bloody elections and there may be more turmoil after the elections.

    The key to this election is Punjab. Nawaz is pinning his hopes on performing better than expected in the central and northern Punjab. If he bags about 80 seats from these two parts, a less then good performance in south Punjab might be good enough to garner enough strength to form the government in the center. The biggest unknown factor off course is Imran, who has replaced PPP as a viable competitor against PMLN in the north and center of Punjab.
    Nobody is able to predict this election until all parties start campaigning in full swing, and only if we see some good poll numbers from Gallup and IRI.

    Let me explain, you have to be a crook to identify another one. Nawaz & company had gone through the process; they know how establishment controls politicians and even makes them. So, when Nisar cries foul, it's like "Been there, done that."

    Nawaz has publicly apologized to the nation about his past mistakes. I'll wait for the time when IK does the same.

    With slight change, ISI will favor Nawaz Sharif out of equation..

    However Shahbaz Shareef can be best candidate from ISI or establishment.

    Nawaz shareef still is trying to make existing establishment happy by saying again again that these were only four generals who favoured coup and kargil action.

    No doubt, all politicians are raised by army only but PMLN is a party who still need establishment to come in power, favoured judiciary is not enough.

    @Arian Bhai,

    Thanks for admitting that Nawaz Sharif and co. are crooks and spawned by military establishment.

    Now where did NS apologize for his crime of becoming PM through a fraudulent and rigged elections using taxpayer money?

    If you can show me any public statement of his, please do.

    And secondly, what is the guarantee that a former crook will not be a crook again? Will you make a convicted chor a chowkidar, ever?

    Even if a chor claims to repent, you will still doubt him.

    In western world, those who are caught in pedophilia (sexual abuse of children), are marked for life - even after getting punishment, they can NEVER become teachers in kindergarten! Because you never know; you have to be cautious, you can't put children at risk.

    Here you are telling me to that we should accept as PM a politician who entered politics through backdoor and grabbed power through FRAUD!

    As for crook identifying another crook - it can't always be true. A crook may be projecting and putting up false allegations just to settle score.

    You have nothing against Imran Khan except apart from baseless allegations. You have not given me a SINGLE SHRED of evidence that ISI is behind PTI, and say I can't hide? You need to talk intelligently, brother.

This is the difference between you and I; I can see NS's past mistakes and criticize him for that but since he and Benazir signed the Charter of Democracy, they both admitted their past mistakes and promised not to engage in those types of policies again. It takes true courage to do something like that in front of the public. You and your follow PTI'ers are living in la la land where you see only goodies. First you said that Nawaz Sharif apologized for ISI backed politics, and when I asked you to show me where he apologized, you said he "admitted" his mistake and said not to repeat it? Where is the APOLOGY? And who is Benazir and Nawaz to keep this matter to themselves. The crime was committed to the public. 1990 elections were rigged and Nawaz was the biggest beneficiary. 1990 election was conducted by establishment and NS was just a beneficiary, so use your hammer on those who are actually responsible. MQM, PTI, Q League are all pawns of the establishment; N League had that "medal of honor" once but no more.

    ^^^Meray bhai, Nawaz Sharif was not a coincidental beneficiary, he was involved in the conspiracy - he was part of IJI - and then benefited the MOST from the conspiracy. As for as proof, the creators of IJI has admitted it and court has decided on it.

    Now your turn at providing evidence. You keep repeating baseless allegations against PTI but provide no backing. It is reflecting very poorly on you.

    As for "signs", if we go into it, then the debate will be become too subjective. Anyone can see any "sign" and interpret to his liking. You know, there are Hindus who believe in 100s of gods - do you agree with their interpretation of "signs"?

    So let's talk about tangible stuff and for once don't hurl baseless allegations.

    @Arain bhai,

    Many PTI supporters have left this forum due to its PMLN partisanship in the past.

    If you conduct the same poll on Facebook, which is much more general representation of Pakistanis than this forum, you will get your results.

    Secondly, survey results are bound to shift. Election campaign is yet to start and caretaker government has yet to come.

    @FineInsaf,

    Please don't take it to heart, it's just some شغل that leaguers do to annoy PTI supporters. Pasha may have supported IK in his personal capacity, but the establishment as an institution perhaps wasn't backing up IK (only God knows). In fact, I saw a very little evidence of that support after Pasha's departure.
    Signs are important in some cases; for instance, I didn't need a judgement from the court to know who was behind the formation of IJI. But again, NS was just a pawn back then, but his last 10-15 years have convinced me that he has learned from his mistakes. Actually, if NS is not on the scene, IK would be my second choice.
