Imposed democracy and leadership is the cause of backwardness and poor people of Pakistan..
We need Islamic system of govt or Khilafa, which makes sure that dishonest, criminals and others are filtered out to reach the key govt Posts.
Only than we can revive back to the age of where no one was available for any type of finacial help like ZAKAT..
Rich became more and more and poor became more and more poor is another damage to the society and backed through this democracy..
So-called developed countries are never able to grow through democracy but through steeling of resources of the rest of the world,in shape of east india company and war on terror..
Ppl from developed countries are bound to live like hard work machine life and than enjoy in a free society..
Every effort is made to make the ppl isolated on the name of moderanism to prevent them from some basic rights.
Only way to made the life meaning full is the way taught by the creator..
No technology and things like that can pull you out of deep ignorance but some words from the creator.....

Apparently the author is impressed with Dubai's shine, but doesn't take into consideration the reality of that little city state.

There are no competing powers in that city, one clan rules and rest are all slaves.

Can't compare that little city state with a potential super power.

JJ, Who is this clown Qasmi? I was in Dubai and felt it was a slave colony with millions of expat workers treated inhumanly like slaves. The recent skyscrapers remind me of Pyramids constructed by slave labor for Pharaohs. The country WAS created by British colonialists to make it a oasis of sin. Thousands of Russian women are flocking in chartered flights to have fun whereas poor expat labor from Pakistan and other countries can't even think of bring in their families.

Why there are 6 Gulf Countries? Let us say Pakistan was separated from Bangladesh but they had different language. Same language, religion and culture in these gulf countries. It was a deliberate plot by Kuffar to divide and rule the Ummah. They still rule these banana Sheihkdoms with installed puppets.

Since as an ex-expact of UAE(Dxb) i can say it with confident that every crime exists in UAE especially dubai but the only thing is strong hold of the Govt. Those who are living in dubai knows very well how arabs treat non arabs, rape is common there. Can agree Ghareeb.

Lets Implement some good things from UAE and Saudi Arabian sharia laws
1-Take all madaris and Masajids in government custody .
2-No one can publish any kind of religious material without the approval from the government .
    3-Ban all religious political groups
4-only government can declare Jihad otherwise this would consider a crime .
5-there will be no religious activity outside the mosque .No moharam jaloos ,no Milad jaloos etc
6-All the Imam would be appointed by the government

    netengr,
You are giving zardari Ameerul Momineen status.
Are you sure zardari is able to go with Islami amarat needs???
Thigs never happen by assuming things their in the world.
Pls come up with some practical suggetions.
Jihad,Madaris,Global Jihad and things like that are already their to handle by Muslims Leaders.
May be some minority of muslims dont like due to their ideology but closing eyes from such blond facts will not work..
Every thing you mentioned is an unpractical agenda but unfortunately westren agenda..
Things and leadership are their and they are pretty good to handle and spread their ideology at global level..
No zardari,Nawaz,Shujaat is needed NOR have the ability to manage purely Islamic Goals.
They are Bad even to handle their Masters, making the whole Nation Baggers and Under Huge Debt.
The other Islamic side are very Good in achieving goals EVEN using SUPER POWERS of the world,BUT making every SUPER POWER weeping at the end..
These details are just to make comparison of BOTH type of Muslim leadership i-e Zardari TYPE and Jihadi Leadership.

    REGARDS,

No offense but me as a member may not agree with your classification of types i.e. Zardari and Jihadi!

If possible, kindly explain further, if you don't mind.

Zardari is the current head of state of Pakistan, while a Jihadi can be anybody as per various further classifications of Jihad. But the term Jihadi is what I do not agree in particular.

    semirza,
To understand and clasify Muslim Jihadi Leadership and other muslim countries leadership i would like to recommend the following programe must to watch once ..

    http://pkpolitics.com/2009/10/29/jirga-29-october-2009/.

This will made clear some questions abt the Muslim leadership exits, but NOT accepted publically for some reasons.
Some but i think core issues related to the very existance of Muslim's resources in this region, were successfully tacled, answered By this Leadership(Global Jihad Leadership).
How much effectively muslims Interests were made safe by this Leadership against Super Powers i-e Russia and US.It's certainly unbelievable. But one thing is clear that honesty to your cause made you achieve anything.
    YES but honesty only.
On the other hand Zardari type of leadership is very much successfull here at one end only. That is only their personal accounts end and the reast of the population is going to suicide, combined suicide attempts with family.
So who remains successfull by this comparison??I mean which type of leadership???

Thanks for your comments. But I will still say that the term Jihad has been 'overused' un-necessarily and mis-understood a lot. Then why not opt for other words that could be more understood readily and will mean no offense to peace lovers. No offense pls.

    semirza,
You are right here that Jihad term has been widely chased within last 10 yrs after 9/11.
BUT attempts were made to stop this terminology from popularity within muslim societies.
Many terror attempts were made and related to the term JIHAD.
Even to edit QURAN and erase the JIHAD related AYATS were attempted.
If you can suggest some other term instead JIHAD,i failed to search and bring alternative term, sorry saying that really.

    Brother Soul,

I do not agree with naming someone as sufi. We had enough confusion with word Jihad that is in Quran and word sufi started several generations after Prophet SAS.

Please read this address in th elink below given by a American born young Muslim, Zayed Yasin, with Pakistani father and American mother. He was selected to give the convocation speech at the most prominent university in America- Harvard. His topic was Jihad and they tried to force himm to change the word Jihad as it was after 9/11. He refused to do that and used American Jihad. He got a standing ovation from the audience and was one of the most beautiful speech I ever heard. Unfortunately, I lost the audio version of his speech that I had saved but the text is available on internet. He urged young Americans to go and work in poor countries. He himself did his MD and went to poor villages of Pakistan to do his research and internship. As a Harvard graduate, he could have got a very lucrative job but he shunned it in favor of meagre salary in Pakistan. That's what I was told.

Jihad, in its truest and purest form, the form to which all Muslims aspire, is the determination to do right, to do justice even against your own interests. It is an individual struggle for personal moral behavior. Especially today, it is a struggle that exists on many levels: self-purification and awareness, public service and social justice. On a global scale, it is a struggle involving people of all ages, colors, and creeds, for control of the Big Decisions: not only who controls what piece of land, but more importantly who gets medicine, who can eat......
