Why are political parties dynastic?

To add to my previous comment:

PTV is an organ of state and ruling party/ies and no one can opt out of paying for it. Here lies the difficulty. Our license fee pays for out brain wash, ie we learn about how brilliant the politicians and their children are. A simple example is seeing Bilawal being promoted very cleverly as a leader without anyone bothering to ask some very simple questions about his credential other than what his gene pool is. PTV breeds dynastic politics.

I don't mind that a son/daughter is ELECTED as leader for a political party, but the way it is done in Pakistan is condemn-able. Here we have Sharifs and Zardari/Bhuttos in direct line to take over after their fathers/uncles/mothers WITHOUT having any political grooming. Here we have Zardari/Bhutto ready to control PPP and Sharif Butts have their own heir ready to take over. Already the two corrupt brothers are controlling the mafia gang PML-N.

Political parties in Pakistan are run like a family business the workers in the parties are like their employees, there is almost no election & nomination by the chaireman of the party is enough, Zardari & Bilawal inheirited the co-chairemanship by the will of Benezir, who will question party leader when each & everyone take his or her share of corruption cake, do you see merit system in Pakistan ?

    @ Outspokenloud

From what I can gather, everyone in Pakistan longs for a system based on pure merit, so why is no one doing anything about it? Meritocracy is Pakistan's ONLY option and we are not going to achieve this in a gift wrap from God. The word "should" (hoona chaheeyae)must be the most used word in Pakistan. Perhaps the conspiracy is really to make everyone think that bringing about change is impossible. I think otherwise. I think change is knocking on our door!

    @ Scandanavian

I agree, if a son or daughter of politician jumps through all the hoops that ordinary party workers jump through and he or she is free from paternal or maternal influence or interference, then fine. In reality, this is not going to happen, is it? Can you imagine Bilawal going through the rigours of street politics first to earn his seat at the top via a free party election? Nay!

  5. Narrated by Abu Musa who said: Two of my cousins and I entered the apartment of the Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam). One of them said: Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam), appoint us rulers of some lands that the Almighty and Glorious Allaah has entrusted to your care. The other also said something similar. He (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam)said: We do not appoint to this position one who asks for it nor anyone who is eager for possessing it. [sahih Muslim]

What is your facination over IK?

I never hear from u concerning our zaalim hukumran. U do know what Islam say's about zulm. I asked u to comment on a link concerning http://pkpolitics.com/discuss/topic/punjab-government-failure-to-control-virus

and u instead of condeming our zaalim hukumran, are facinated with Imran Khan. Are hukumran immune from your comments. They are the one's in government and who are doing zulm against our people. Imran Khan is not even in power. Let's agree with u IK is bad, but are not our hukumran worser. If u condemn IK then by right N$, Mr10% and Mr Don should get coverage from u. Coverage should be more I would say.

Why is hadith narrations not targeted aginst the likes of Nawaz Sharif, for looting, releasing RD, kissing the back of US, lying etc etc

Why are your comments generally targeted against Imran Khan?

Why do u not comment on other threads concerning issues related to Pakistan?

Is not name calling against Islam?

    Why the double standards?

PTV has always been the government mouthpiece whichever party or tyrant comes to rule in Islamabad. Every party has used it as a tool to propogate its own agenda.

For example I came to know about the true reality of the mustaqil qaumi mujra (MQM) much later in the 21st century with the advent of the private channels. Had it not been the coverage of the private channels like AAJ on 12th May 2007 we would never ever have seen the most brutal and terrorism-infested face of this fascist organiation live on the national television.

When 50 innocent people were dying in the pool of blood on the streets of Karachi this mouthpiece of a tyrant and his terrorist allies was airing his jalsas in Islamabad whereby the tyrant was claiming that people (read:terrorists) have demonstrated their power in Karachi.

Some Sindhi and Pakhtoon terrorists tried to Hijack Karachi on 12th May. May be some MQM worker did open fired (specially on those armed pakhtoon belonging to ANP terrorist wings, and Sindhis from PPP) who tried to enter drigh-road area. I say hell yeahhhh, punish those bas-tards who think they can make us live in their rotten tribal society or with their feudal supremacy.

Its a blessing that media is free today and people can now differentiate between Jali degree holders, mass murderers, criminal parties and educated, moderate and middle class MQM.

I thought only the terrorists of MQM were insane but it seems even their cyber warriors and sympathisers are insane too.

Those 50 people killed were all innocent bystanders, randomly picked up by the gun-weilding terrorists of MQM on the basis of their language and ethnicity. Dont try to fool us, we all saw on live television that day who did what.

While PTV was showing that jaali commando's jalsa in Islamabad the other private channels were airing live images of MQM terrorist shooting indiscriminately towards their opponents.

    Just to refresh your memories:

    http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,15430533,00.html

you guys will start more intolerant comments due to my comment.

but MQM has changed the political culture of Pakistan on this one facet. No more dynastic rule and only educated people can come to the fore. better accept than lie to yourself and others about it.

You are right, but you need to drop your weapons as well and become a main stream party!

Sure thing Quaid buddy, the culture has really changed. The culture of bhattakori, haramkhori, target killing, conspiracy to dismember the state by covertly and sometimes overtly conniving with the enemies....some of the noble traits which were missing from our political culture until about 25 years ago. Two cheers to MQM for introducing such noble elements to our society.

I will be happy to consider MQM to be better than PPP and the various PMLs if someone could explain why Altaf Hussain is still in control of MQM after more than 20 years? In the best examples of democratic systems, it is impossible to find a person running a party for decades. MQM is a personality cult gone out of control and is perhaps as undesirable as dynastic party. Proper change in top leadership of political parties every 4 or 5 years brings fresh ideas and flesh blood to the political narrative of a country. Failing that we wallow in the same s--t forever.

for many people it will be stunning story that Nawaz Deal Shareer is responsible for all the gang & bhatta war in Karachi by transferring 198 police officers in Karachi in & hydrabad in 1996-97 on the desire of MQM, becoz MQM wanted to avenge operation carried out by Police & IB against MQM terrorists, only 4 out of 198 managed to survive from the kill-deal between MQM and Nawaz, 194 police officer murdered one by one, click the link below:

We need to change the way we think not what we think about. Pakistan can consign dynastic politics to the dustbin of history but before that we all need to leave our comfort zone for a while. Keeping your heart and mind open is more important than keeping your eyes open.
