because their is one incompetent government (PML N) in Lahore too.
Hakumat Hatao Mulk Bachao Jalsas have been held in Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Islamabad and finally now in Lahore after having successful dharnas in Peshawar and Karachi.
PTI is building momentum before it gives a final call.

So u r saying it is not against federal government ?
and u dont agree that jalsa has to be in the same city where president or prime minister has their HQ ?
Posted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 15:18 # -
Maybe you missed the dharnas in Islamabad in August.
The strategy is to build enough momentum to get rid of both corrupt and incompetent governments federal and provincial at the same time.

this is not the answer to my question.
are u trying to say that jalsa in lahore is against PMLN governemnt ONLY??
Posted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 15:22 # -
it s very good move.... if PTI can get massive support from lahories then NS and Zardari's time is over.
until then stick with choors of PML and PPP

Imran khan yesterday asked the same question to PMLN that why they are having a rally in Lahore when they should do it in Islamabad where the govt HQ is.
SO I am throwing the same question of Imran Khan to PTI Fans

^PTI can have their jalsa where they wish. Same as all parties are entitled to....So what is the pain? Let both the PML-N and PTI compete..minus your predictions that are seemingly way off but let us see...

@ SE Mirza
Then tell this to your leader Imran Khan . Why he is askign this question?

Ha, ha..ha.
PML nara was Go Zardari go...Where? In Lahore and where does Zardari sit? And yet the "dare" to question PTI?

@Scandinavian
Then PTI slogan is hakoomat hatao. Why they are doing it in Minar e Pakistan?
Posted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 15:47 # -
@daani
This jalsa is to prove to which party has most support in lahore.
For PML N to claim that it is "Go Zardari GO" they should have done it in Islamabad, not Lahore, it would have been more constructive. But the perception among many is it should have been "Go Imran Khan Go".
Whilst Shabaz sharif was doing his comedy show, IK was in Islamabad with a small gathering, condemning drone attacks.
If PML N are serious should they not resign from government, tat would be more effective?

Can you imagine, if all the jalsas happened only in Islamabad?
Will you have enough days in the week?
We will have to re-locate the entire population of Islamabad to a quieter place.
Even if the decision to hold the jalsa in Lahore is a strategic one, then what exactly is the problem? Is it wrong to have political strategy?

Apni taraf bhi dekho.
PTI can hold a rally in which ever city they want to. It is not written anywhere that a rally against the government MUST be held in the capital city. Is there a law for that?

@daani
Then PTI slogan is hakoomat hatao. Why they are doing it in Minar e Pakistan?
Yes PML N are part of hukumat, so therefore they are targeted as well. We are against the system quo, which PML N and PPP are main beneficiries.

@Scandinavian
PLease tell this to your leader Imran Khan. Tell him that no such law exists.
Probably he doesnt know what u r telling us herePosted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 15:56 # -
daani;
Think big but more importantly, think outside the box.
It's the message not the location that is important.
Don't get bogged down by the colour of the font, it's what the text says that is more important. (sorry, this does sound patronising).
Is there anything that Imran says that you support?

@Dani
I need not to agree on anything Imran says. If he says so, then I disagree with him.

@Scandinavian
At least we agree on that it is right of every party(PTI, PPP , PMLN, MQM or any other party) and every person to have a rally or meeting and express his/her opinion.

This movement is against all govt.s Why AZ's junior partners are feeling too much heat?
Posted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 16:25 # -
@Daani
Yes, we agree on this part.
Can you please explain why PML politicians don't resign when are so much against the PPP rule?
Posted 6 months ago on 29 Oct 2011 17:27 # -
Title of thread is worth questioning; Federal Govt is run by PPP and Imran is spending his energies on criticizing PMl-N day in day out. What signals have Imran received from GHQ?
Posted 6 months ago on 31 Oct 2011 15:39 # -
@ "What signals have Imran received from GHQ? "
why Nooners are assuming that GHQ is signaling something IK, politically speaking it is very good to wake up people in lahore, faisalabad and Karachi type cities ... thats where IK most likely going to get some votes...so why not start from Lahore.
Also, over past few years Noon league failed to put decent opposition inside or outside of parliament, lets clean up the small "Burai" first...then will see bigger thing.Once PTI have momentum and support they will take people to Islamabad as well... right now they are testing water.

@daani
IK was quite clear about why he picked Lhe.
So according to IK he picked Lahore due to the symbolism of the Lahore Resolution (23rd March) which kicked off the Pakistan Movement (at the same spot then known as Minto Park) as a formal request by the APML for a separate Muslim State(s) within British India.
I would argue he picked Lahore due to its political importance as a key decision making electorate for Punjab the most powerful member of the federation and probably because he was pretty confident that he would be able to draw large crowds.
Its a perfectly logical destination to kick off his show of force.

PML-N rally in the leadership of sitting self proclaimed Khadim e ala was against who ? may against himself ? it it was against Zardari than it should have been in Islamabad,
becoz PTI is against both of them & very rightly,
the only difference between Zardari & N$ is the percentage
Zardari = mr 10%
Nawaz $hareef = 90%
