Why PTI and JI are still not in alliance????

    I want to know the reason why they not in alliance having so many things favoring their alliance???

    1) Both did not participated in 2008 general elections.
    2) Both claimed to have Anti-American votes.
    3) Philosophical they are neat toe each other then why their never talked for an alliance.

    I feel they will never make the alliance as fallowing are the reasons.

    1) JI has significant vote in KHR. PTI is considered as the B-team of MQM in Karachi. So Anti MQM vote will go to JI. As PTI is Pro-MQM therefore no advantage to JI.

    2) JI has serious votes in KPK where PTI also claimed to have votes. So if imran think he has 40% seats of KPK cover JI feels they also have 40% seats cover. while both have their 40% cover in almost similar area (almost 60% of kkp). So if the form alliance they feel they get half half....with out alliance JI feels they can have all of 60% of KPK same by the PTI.

    3) PTI claimed to have massive votes in Punjab while JI does not have enough. so no real advantage..

    First of all, its too early to make any alliance, both for JI & PTI. PTI is going through intra-party elections, which have been started from Islamabad today. JI want to keep its options open as of right now and looking at the situation forming.
    PTI has already stated that it'll be making alliance with parties who are not in assemblies (which includes JI).
    For JI, it is a difficult decision to make. Going with Maulana's JUI-F in MMA might make them lose their credibility. As Maulana's reputation has not been good in recent times. Going with PML-N would mean that they would be forming alliance with a party who have already once ditched them in 2008. PTI option looks feasible but they are still waiting for the right time.

    CARE TAKER PM.
    What a joke?
    PML-N has been making hue and cry over IMPARTIALITY &
    nominated QAZI HUSSAIN of JI the man who were linchpin in ISI's IJI with NAWAZ SHARIF.

    It is very obvious that JI will make alliance with PML-N. That will be very wise decision for J.I.

    Everyone knows, Future of PTI is in bleak.

    4 year and 8 month gone both are not in assembly still they never sit to gather. I have posted 2 reason at top. these are the reasons which is explained by a Top leader of JI when i questioned them In Mansoora Lahore.

    Brother this is the time...time is very limited now. in March there will be general elections. and in winter you can not do massive political activities.

    Qazi Hussain Ahmed would be JI candidate from NA-5 (Nowshera). I think PML-N just gave out his name for caretaker PM to have good relationship with JI. PML-N knew Qazi won't accept the offer. Just a double game.

    @ muazzam: Imran Khan and Syed Munawar Hassan met just 1 or 2 months ago and they agreed in principal that both have the same objectives . Also, leadership from both JI and PTI have been always in contact. So its baseless to say that both parties aren't sitting together.

    Going with PML-N would mean that JI would be forming alliance with a party who have already once ditched them in 2008. Going with PML-N won't do them any good in KPK or KHI as PML-N has little support in KPK and KHI.

    PTI has enough support in KPK to win on its own. And JI only have serious votebank in 5-6 constituencies in KPK. If JI+PTI forms, there would be absolute sweep of JI+PTI in KPK+FATA. So, it is a plus point for JI if they go in alliance with PTI.

    Same thing goes for KHI, it would be difficult for JI & PTI to win on their own against MQM. But together they can beat MQM. So it is another incentive for JI+PTI alliance.

    Making alliance with PML-N won't do them any good. So PTI is more feasible option.

    brother come up with reasons. you are twisting facts. both have claimed to have vote bank in same area. while JI chief met 3 to 4 time with PML n. give us any new convincive thing.

    I have already given you two reasons as why a JI+PTI alliance would be beneficiary to JI rather than JI+PML-N. JI can still go ahead and form alliance with PML-N if they want to repeat the mistake of trusting PML-N once again. But it won't do them any good as PML-N has little support in KPK and KHI.

    bhea trusting etc kush nhi ha....JUI F has did what with JI but still 1st option is JUI F. it feels you that PML N did wrong with JI while JI did not feel this. When i put my questions in Mansoora they clear me out that we will make allience with that party which will suit us better. and a Party which will form govt in Federal because many years has past JI is not in govt. so now they want to sit in the govt to make their constituency strong. JI will fight on the symbol "Tarozo" PTI also demanded this.... JI seriously feel it is PTI who are trying to crub them in kpk on those areas where they are strong. there is no impact of youth in KPK. in KPK there anti american and few other things...which are important for votes......

    bhea i know from where Weikigreat has pick the list... even you look the list you will feel at many seats PTI Vs JI. JI want alliance with JUI f to secure there sects which PTI tries to win.

    As I said, JI can still go with JUI-F but it'll negatively impact them due to not so good reputation of Maulana. Regardless of trust issues, they can go with PML-N, but it'll give them no advantage in KPK or KHI.

    So, the party which suits them better electoral-wise in KPK and KHI is PTI.

    And I agree with you that in KPK there is anti-US sentiments among people and people are against the war on terror. So, whatever party follows this agenda would win in KPK. As of right now, PTI and JI are the only parties who have the agenda of anti-drone policy and disengaging from war on terror. Both have same agenda for Elections, so it suits them better to make an alliance atleast in KPK.

    As I said in that thread too that the list is too early to form and the analysis is not correct for most of seats. So, lets wait for the caretaker setup to come in before finalizing any lists.

    I would say the only reluctance to form alliance between PTI and JI is from PTI's side.

    It is because JI, like other parties, has been in power before and part of the system for many years. It has many skeletons in its cupboard. They are not in power currently, but that in no way justifies electoral alliance with them. Opposition alliance on one point agenda is another thing.

    Many people in areas like Karachi seriously have issues against JI, just like they issues against other parties.

    So the question for PTI is: is an electoral alliance with JI more political benefiical than a political liability?

    However, the second issue for PTI is: if PTI declines to go with JI, then it will push JI into PMLN's corner. While JI alone is of little good electorally, it can lend credence to a corrupt status quo party like PMLN in the form of an alliance of corrupts and mullahs in the garb of "national interest" like the one we had in the 90s as seen in Asghar Khan case.

    I don't think JI has had any great track record to show in any elections, except in 2002. They do not have much electoral power.

    Just like Sheik Rasheed, I think Imran KHan's vision is that if a person has reformed and is doing positive politics, he should be joined. So in that sense, PTI can go with JI.

    Today Nawaz Sharif has given indication that PML-N will do alliance with J.I., PML-F & Like minded.

    Alliance with Like Minded & F already done, now Alliance with J.I. need formal announcement. I am very optimistic for J.I. & PML-N alliance.

    Believe me, No one will see which party ditch which party, It's time every one will look for their own benefit. It is very obvious that PML-N are in a very strong position to grab majority of seats in next general election & Will be in position to form next election, therefore I have feeling that J.I. will weight in towards PML-N rather than PTI, especially with recent downward popularity graph of PTI.

    It's all my observation & opinions.

    My assessment is, JI Punjab leadership wants to join PMLN and rest of JI mainly Karachi leadership does not trust NS/PMLN. My guess is, JI will join TI once election date announce.

    I guess they're finalizing nitty grittys .. major half of JI would like to go with N but the people who matter, the current and the recent ameer want to go forward with PTI.

    And I guess if nothing really bad happens, we will see a press conference in Zaman Park just before elections.

    Gentlemen! You all are discussing as if ANP and JUI-F do not exist in KPK. They hold a great influence in KPK. Recently Maulana Fazlur Rehman spelled, on a reporter's question, they would never let Jewish lobby come into the power. He was making pointation direct to Imran Khan. If he continues this poisonous propaganda in KPK it would affect a lot in the forthcoming election.

    As you know, Zardari is the greatest madari of Pakistan changing skin and colour as it suits him. I think also IK is learning from Zardari a lot and very fast. The only target is IQTIDAR and again IQTIDAR only.

    The only way left for PTI is to make an alliance with present ruling alliance otherwise supporters of PTI can not wait for next elections . This will not be much bad . Imran Khan can still serve the nation in the most required fields . Education ,health care and sports .

    In my view, JI is political voice of TTP. JI can expect to get all TTP votes from KP Province. And you are right, Jamat Islami and Talibans are a natural alliance.

    The power hungry mind set of JI is in PMLN e.g. Haneef Abassi, Ahsan Iqbal etc etc. Basically they belong to JI. The terrorist part of JI is TTP

    Mansoora trained mindsets have already infiltrated heavily in different parties and PML-N is already considering an electoral alliance with them.

    And there is no ifs and buts over close relation between Jamat Islami and TPP.
