Chinese buses: reply sought on change of probe
LAHORE, March 25: The Lahore High Court on Friday hearing a petition challenging change of investigation of a ‘fake’ case against officials of a Chinese company plying CNG buses in the city observed: “It appears that local transport giants will never let any foreign transport company work in Pakistan even if they (foreigners) provide cheapest and luxurious service.”
Justice Sheikh Najamul Hasan made these observations when Advocate Aftab Ahmad Bajwa on behalf of Zhong Li Han, head of Guizhou Yunna Aircraft Manufacturing Company of China, alleged the police investigation board ordered the change of investigation recalling an earlier decision which had not allowed the same.
The counsel said Shahzad Akhtar, a local transport company owner, had got a case registered against representatives of the Chinese company but the same was cancelled during police investigation....
(Shahzad Akhtar I bet is supported by Ganju Bros...)
