    A secret CIA report
, brought to light last month by Wikileaks, reveals the cynical battle plans for the "war of perception" being waged over public opinion in Europe about NATO's war in Afghanistan. The four-page document is well worth reading, mainly to see exactly how cyncial the powers-that-be are when assessing the public.

Public apathy enables leaders to ignore voters + tailoring the message could forestall the back lash + galores of other repugnant Machiavellian endearing schmooze.

Right on its heels, this absolutely repugnant, misleading and unabashedly exploiting cover of TIME. It has made us Americans even more angry than before.
Obama administration has full blown hemorrhoid.

    Long time no see... :)

That TIME cover indeed is absolutely repugnant and naked propaganda. Good to know CIA is still using little girls. I am reminded of Iraq and Swat immediately (you and I are well familiar with that). And they tried in Iran as well (remember Neda? That snuff-porn gave many a baboos a long-lasting hard*n).

But for baboos it will be their Swat spanking video. They will refuse to acknowledge it as being part of "war of perception", something even the CIA admits. They will holler up an down with some choice words for 'Taliban' screaming "See why the war must continue?", forgetting hundreds of thousands of girls blown to bits by NATO bombs. They will swear again drone strikes (miraculously) only kill militants and no innocent girls are ever loose their noses, eyes, cheeks, arms, legs, etc. They will forget girls get their noses cut, have acid thrown on their faces, get gang-raped, killed as 'kali' every day all around them without them anyone batting an eye. Wonder what is special about 'Taliban' doing it? What buttons does it push/strings that it pulls???

BTW: Love the 'dramatic' startof the TIME piece:

The Taliban pounded on the door just before midnight, demanding that Aisha, 18, be punished for running away from her husband's house. Her in-laws treated her like a slave, Aisha pleaded. They beat her. If she hadn't run away, she would have died. Her judge, a local Taliban commander, was unmoved. Aisha's brother-in-law held her down while her husband pulled out a knife. First he sliced off her ears. Then he started on her nose.

That thing is so bloody rare! See for example a search of just one local newspaper.

@nota, hope you're well my good friend. I'f you've been active here, believe me, that's a chalk up for liberty in Pakistan. God knows we need some voices of systematic political skepticism, even if at times it sounds blowhard...otherwise we'll be left with... well... the traditional voices overtly wrapped in obscure Islamist sloganeering which you'll agree are redundantly boring and diverting.

That thing is so bloody rare! See for example a search of just one local newspaper.

    BAM!, qft!

Precisely, it is called THIRD WORLD for a reason. The masses are routinely savage in the absence of the application of law.
    What's the next headline?

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF tHE US LEAVES INDIA?
    Oh wait.

In any event I just don't want my government (or my tax dollars) going out slaying dragons and "saving" other people (not that it ventures out with this noble deed in mind anyways).

But don't tell it to your Baboos! They'll have a fit. ........I mean they'll have a fit that US MIGHT BE CONTEMPLATING to save India for the Indians, given that many of them already have openly surrendered your sh8hole's sovereignty to even a bigger more putrid sh8hole towards your East.

The period of WikiLeak revelations covers five years of George W. Bush from January 2004 till December 2008 and one year of Barack Obama from January to December 2009. Looking back in rearview mirror, one sees that significant changes started to occur in American policy in Afghanistan after December 2009 and talk of reconciliation and negotiations with Taliban gained currency. Pakistan also began to figure out prominently and there was noticeable change of attitude of US officials. Karzai too started leaning towards Pakistan. Sudden change of direction of wind was not to the liking of India, Northern Alliance and Jewish lobby in USA since it ran counter to their designs against Pakistan.

This change occurred at a time when anti-Pakistan themes drafted by India had reached maturing stage and had taken the shape of proper charge sheet. The situation had ripened to put Pakistan on the mat. USA and western countries drift towards Pakistan took the juice out of the regular supply of source reports furnished by RAW-RAAM agents who whetted the appetite of US military with concocted stories about Pak Army and ISI. Fearing that what had been collated and disseminated may not become outdated and get washed away in the humdrum of final phase which was favorably inclined towards Pakistan, it was considered expedient to leak the classified information. Other than putting Pakistan and its premier institutions in the firing line, it was intended by master planners RAW and Mossad to tarnish the image of US military as well.
Soon after the publication of secret documents by WikiLeak, Afghanistan spokesman promptly gave his observations to the press asserting that the documents would help raise awareness on the sanctuaries Pakistan provides for militant groups. He gave this statement under the misplaced impression that documents would surely help in indicting Pakistan on charges of terrorism. He didn’t realize that all those who were collectively digging a hole for Pakistan would themselves fall into it.
