    ISLAMABAD: Taking a strong notice of an incident of torture on a woman in Faisalabad police custody, the Supreme Court Monday asked the Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police to take strict action against officials involved in the incident.

  2. It will make a start, in any case. Moreover, the dignity of our people is never ever in danger. Whatever may happen to us, with God's help, that we always keep intact. The day we turn atheist or something, we might well lose our innate sense of dignity.

    agree with mirza ghalib to greater extent buy still the lack of free governance or corruption free at least would restore the circumstances.

  4. Yes, good governance is something we sorely miss in this country. And have missed for many a year now. But as for dignity, that is the birthright of each one of us. Not even the worst torturer can take that away from us. Our awareness of corruption and crime, however, has reached such a boiling point by now, I can't believe we'll not get some form of change soon.

  6. That was disgusting to see a woman get beaten by police in this way...i must say one thing about Punjab Police that they are the biggest gunnddazz in Pakistan at da moment...
