Yemen next: A country to be invaded by Americans

Another drama is being staged. This time target is not Iran but Yemen. Brainwashing propaganda campaign has begun using neocon media channels like Washington Post. Arabian Gulf has been militarized. Now the Red Sea?

U.S. counterterrorism officials suspect that the packages, which were intercepted in Britain and Dubai, were sent by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which had already demonstrated a flair for sophisticated bombmaking in an attempt to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day.
Obama did not specify any new security measures that would be taken or say that the nation's terrorist alert level had been raised. But he described the threat as serious and pointed once again to Yemen as the source of a terrorist plot, saying his top terrorism adviser, John O. Brennan, had been in touch with that country's president.

  2. "Brainwashing propaganda campaign has begun using neocon media channels like Washington Post."

Well who needs Washington Post when you got Jang, Geo, Dawn, etc. Last night, when I heard this on local channels (all were running the story and claiming "an explosive device" was found on the plane. Just to double-check, I switched to bbc, cnn, sky and ALL of them were reporting 'the suspicious package contained NO explosives'...Of course are papers are still claiming there were explosives i those packages.

And Of course Obama is calling it "credible terrorist threat", and that is no big surprise as he needs to on the eve of the elections where his Dems are going to get their bvtt kicked.

P.S. It also helps in providing an excuse to try and prop up their puppet in Yemen that is facing "total chaos or even fragmentation"...

  4. US invasions, strange though but nevertheless fully comprehensible when fall of Turkey and q u e e r adventures by
Thomas Edward Lawrence known as Lawrence of Arabia combined are studied. Result was fragmentation of Mainland Arabia into new states of the Middle East a term never heard before. These states are headed by placed stooges carefully selected from not so reputed tribes.

All such states remain immune to western military adventurism albeit those of extreme historically important civilizations like Iraq, Afghanistan and now Yemen merit being bombed into oblivion. Perhaps uprooting cradle of civilization is not enough to pave way for a new world order.

USA's plate is already full, nay, overflowing....hence I don't think invasion of Yemmen will be brewing in any sane American planner's mind.....but then again Americans are not renowned for subtlety, so one never knows....lollllzz

But I am amused to note that there is no dearth of CONSPIRACY theory tellers, as if we will wreak havoc if America did not give us a plausible justification for its actions...come on.....lollllzzz

i think that yemen is not "next a country", they are already under war, things been going on for some time now..

key question is why bring attention to yemen now?

is it to use this as fuel for november election? or this is that notorious "october surprise" thing?

We have to do something: Yemen has replaced Afghanistan as "the international jihadi's destination of choice from which to prepare, plot, and launch future terror attacks," says Simon Tisdall in The Guardian. And Yemen's weak government can't do much to stop them. Adulmutallab's emergence from the "Yemeni terrorist melting pot" confirms Western spies' "worst nightmares," and shows just how much of a threat we face from AQAP.

  11. "I don't think invasion of Yemmen will be brewing in any sane American planner's mind"

Against the assumption here is they are sane :)

And don't tell me you haven't heard of PNAC and it's "Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century" that...

...Most ominously, this PNAC document described four "Core Missions" for the American military. The two central requirements are for American forces to "fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars," and to "perform the 'constabulary' duties associated with shaping the security environment in critical regions." Note well that PNAC does not want America to be prepared to fight simultaneous major wars. That is old school. In order to bring this plan to fruition, the military must fight these wars one way or the other to establish American dominance for all to see.

    (source)

(But personally I don't see Yemen as the next target...just saying thinking "US has it's plate full" is not an accurate assessment)

because saudi arabia feel threat from such militants due to neighbouring country and he will pay all the required expenditures, recenly there were big clashes between saudi armed forces and yemen millitants but they were dominent over saudi armed forces and saudia given the signal to raid on yemen because saudi can not take place as on front as of all muslims will make oppostion and things will be resolved by dialogue

In case you face difficulty expressing yourself you may use Urdu instead if you know it. I find it difficult to commprehend what you are trying to say even by using my fingers in keyboard as you have suggested therefore once again kindly pay attention to your comments so that they are easily understood by members like myself.

Spot on. You got it correct because there is always a propaganda campaign before a country is attacked. Something akin to preparing minds making acceptable what would be coming in future.

In my dealings with Saudis, I have noticed that they have a lot of contempt for Yemenis. It almost as if Saudis feel that Yemenis are outcasts. Yemenis have lowest jobs in Saudi Arabia pretty much boot polishing for Saudis.
Saudis hate Yemeni and think they are inferior and ofcourse Yemen is not a rich country like Saudi Arabia.

This is not a salafi vs xyz topic neither a Saudi vs Yemeni confrontation but an occupation in the happenings.

What I have said is about a possible attack on and occupation of Yemen by USA using a false pretext of parcel bombs.

Worn out mantra of global jihad is irrelavant to this issue because all the attack planning is being done by the west.

well this potential capturing will not happen unless:

Saudi Arabi is okay with it.
Iraq was doomed because SAudi ARabia was okay with it. USA runs on the $$$ SAudi Sheikhs invest in USA, if SAudis stop shipping oil to USA and pull their $$$ out, then US is gone.

So US needs nod from SAudi. thats why Saudi vs Yemen issue comes.

  23. saqib55, you really have global jihad on the brain, don't you? That's actually playing the game of the enemy. I've replied to you at greater length on the other thread on which you posted.

    @ Saqib

the video you have posted made me laugh and shake my head.

the problem with the beliefs of that man were that they were absurd:

"if xyz attacks my innocent people, I will attack their innocent people as well"

thats not the way to think and thats what makes him supporter of those who spread terror. you cant kill an innocent person because that means you kill all of humanity. If this so called idiot Chaudhry believes in Quran, he forgot that verse.

how idiotic is it that this looser somehow claims to represent all other muslims viewpoints... he doesnt deserve it.

Kindly stay on topic and do not attempt to derail thread topic by diverting this discussion towards Jihadi organizations, concept of Ummah or qualified Islamic research.
A super power conspiring to attack another country using a false pretext is the subject.

    http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/10/31/yemen.bomb.maker.asiri/index.html?hpt=T2

Saudi Arabia's most wanted man Asiri is suspect according to this link. Looks like feeble attempts by media to globalize the non-event into a major event. This is nothing but mass propaganda to hoodwink ignorant masses and keep them on thier toes in the fake war on terror. This kind of news every now and then is attempt to fuel the unjust war unleashed by US and NATO war criminals. First they said the package was meant to explode inthe planes. Those planes happen to be cargo planes as no package go through civilian planes. Question comes to mind as the motive was to destroy "cargo"? Cargo planes are usually manned by a pilot and co-pilot.

"First they said the package was meant to explode inthe planes. "

That story has been ever-changing. Remember the first reports said it was found NOT to be an explosive device. (That indeed is true and that is why the packages passed at least two security checks.)

Suddenly it morphed into a bomb that was meant to explode -- drum roll please -- at synagogues in Chicago.

Latest spin of course they were to explode in the air and meant to bring the planes down.

(Of course the poor girl arrested is a student who we are told to believe that she was so dumb that she wrote her real name, address, and phone number on the packages)
