Honorable President Asif Ali Zardari is at his best when it comes to politics of Pakistan.
He used PML-N to get rid of Mush and became President himself .
He got his PM elected he got senate chairman he got comfortable wins in Gilgit baltistan and a thumping victory in Kashmir in Nawaz sharif kashmiri backyard.
He gave Chief Minister ship to PML-N and confined them to Punjab only and with Saraiki suba slogan only limited him to Lahore and Gujranwala divisions. Even In these two divisions Imran Khan is leashed at Nawaz. With 18th amendment and aligning with small small parties he routed Nawaz sharif from Haz
He used MQM for three years and even sacrificed his cousin …. After getting the PML-Q on his side he and budget approval shoed the way out to MQM with daggers on their head of splitting Karachi & Hyderabad in to old districts.
He gave the authority to Army to deal with USA and war against terror knowing that it is complicated matter and if civilians take control of this issue the Army will pull the rug behind the civilians he gave the extension to General Kiyani and Pasha. But with 2nd may Abbottabad USAMA saga and Drone attacks saga it was army which was put in the Dock.

However I did enjoy ZArdari speech against Nawaz Sharif.

Shrewd Thief is what i would call him.
Politician has some responsibility to his people.

Inshallah his days are numbered in Pakistan. Because you know when gov't falls, Zardari is on the first plane out. And i want to see the faces of his ministers, Firdous, Fauzia, Abdi....

One point is well made.

It shows the devil who is Nawas Sharif more than it shows the cleverness of Zardari.

May the 2nd. Everyone was demanding resignation of this government after Imran Khan made the first call. Even Ch Nisar followed Imran Khan's call.

This was the most appropriate demand. The responsibility for such a big blunder lie on the government, more than anyone else. Technical lapses come way below the primary moral responsibility which belongs to the head of the state.

Yet the greedy little idiot that is Nawas Sharif blurred the whole issue by grinding his axe with Pasha and Kayani and dragging the army into it - while the pathetic media picking it up as something to be lauded.

I am sure he was trying to sound a statesmen, consciously or subconsciously following the advice of rejected intellectuals like Najam Sethi, to spare the "weak democratic" government (meaning, to give the corrupt Zardari more time), trying to be the new PPP - yet Nawas Sharif made a complete fool of himself and gave Zardari another chance.

It is not Zardari that is so clever, it is Nawas Sharif who is as obtuse as he is greedy.

Nawaz sharif party is political wing of Taliban. It is funded by saudi wahabi lobby. Thats Nawaz sharif failure thats his party strings are pulled by religious fanatics both from home and abbroad but when he comes under crises he looks towards clintons of USA and haririees of Lebnon .thats why he always fails when it comes to balance these both.

Whole of Q-league wanted to join PMLN and even before this govt. was formed both Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi visited Raiwind with an offer to join N-league, Nawaz Sharif even refused to meet them. Afterwards there were many times when Nawaz Sharif could have defeated this govt. When MQM and JUI had left the govt. last time, PPP govt. had lost majority, even MNAs from FATA had left them, that was the best time for N-league to oust this govt. but credit goes to Nawaz Sharif, he has learnt his lessons from 90's politics. Unfortunately PPP hasn't.

Zardari has no strength, his only strength is his lies and wheeling dealings and the worst victim of this will be PPP itself. Die hard PPP followers and the one who were closed with BB had left him. He has a rating of 11% popularity among masses, most of these 11% will be Sindhis and Shia people. Judging the popularity of Zardari by seeing Kashmir elections is simply ridiculous. Give ANP govt. in center and the next elections in A.K will be won by ANP. In any fair elections in Pakistan, PPP will be wiped out in Punjab, NWFP and Baluchistan. Only Sindh rural areas will remain intact with PPP.

It is very easy to label anyone who is against you as Taliban.

No one knew Talibans before 1994, it was the govt. of Benazir who created them and I was present in a news conference, as a journalist, when BB spoke very high of them and rejected all the criticism by some senior journalist against creating division in Afghanistan. She was of the view that it will bring peace in Afghanistan. There was a division even in Talibans those days and few groups wanted their own leader instead of Mulla Ummar. Mullah Ummar allegedly payed money to ISI and Zardari got a booty from it for the ultimate support of Mullah as Taliban leader. This was even conceded by Mullah Zaeef in one of his interview, the money was paid in some foreign country.

Now it is a fashion to call anyone Taliban or its supporter, who has different opinion then one's own.

The difference between zardari and nawaz is that, zardari have no principle in politics but nawaz run the politics with principle which will not give fruit to him earlier but later he will reap it effectively.

In present situation political surroundings suits zardari due to global politics full of cheating and fraudulent that need hypocrite type of people to deal with them.

It is first time that any democratic government completed three years, which credit not goes to zardari but both PML-N and PPP. This credit goes to BB who put a condition not to abolish any stable government due to their contradiction in politics.

Pakistan needs coalition partners with small parties to run the system peacefully.

No any government will fulfill all the requirement of soul but there is need of tolerance and every one should have to wait for their good time and turn to solve their matters. Rather then looting ,killing, eliminating each other.

No doubt Zardari is shrewd and smart Politician who has a senior minister named Ch. Pervaiz Elahi whose name was mentioned by Benazir Bhutto as her killer in case of her death. No doubt Zardari is shrewd and smart Politician as he has an alliance with PML (Q) whose leader Ch Shujaat still owns that pen with which Bhutto death order was signed. AZ is really cunning politician as he has alliance with a party which was called by "Qatal" league by him a few years ago. AZ is the smartest of all politicians as the Bhutto murder legal proceedings are being done by Baber Awan who once used to raise Zia Shaheed slogan. No doubt Zardari is shrewd and smart Politician who signed the agreement for the restoration of judges three times in front of whole public and then gave the historic remarks that agreements are not Quran or Hadith.

@Irshad.. Chaanga Maanga Product Nawaz sharif has only one prnciple make Lotaas . He himself made constitution amendment against lotas and in this democratic process he is the only one who made lotas.

Talking to leaders you may dislike but have people mandate is very common in democracies all over the world but making Lotaas is only a prnciple of Nawaz shrif.

Nawaz sharif publically announces that he in press confrence for APDM rather it was resolution that we will not participate in election but he did .
the other resolution was we will not never talk to MQM but you will see now.
please dont hide the arguments behind shabby principles..

The reality is what a Known Political actor Ansaar Abbasi was also forced to admit that Zardari is shrewd Politician, Nawaz Be-waqoof Politician.

Forgive me, but this is nothing but nonsense.

Nawas Sharif can't probably even spell "principle" let alone practice it. His history is that of a corrupt businessman who came into power through dirty politics of agencies and used governmental powers to further his business interests.

He is the product of the dirty politics practiced by the agencies. Expecting principles form such a person is insulting one's intelligence. A person who has committed corruption has no relation with principles.

NOW, the reason for the current harping on the word "principle" by Nawas and his cohorts, is that they are trying to copy IMran Khan's politics (but only in word, and even that selectively) which is TRULY based on principles.

I do reckon that Nawas Sharif wants to leave a positive legacy, which is due to his inflated ego. HE wants to be what he is not. I acknowledge this wish, but you can't make a crab walk straight no matter how hard you try. In Urdu, "Kawa Chala hans ki chal, apni bhi bhool gaya".

I expect nothing from a corrupt person like Nawas and this mafia of a party PMLN.

Recent tussle between Nawas Sharif and agencies is due to the fact that in Wikileaks, it was revealed that Kayani does not hold a great opinion about Nawas. That is, Nawas Sharif's diatribe against agencies owes itself not to any principled politics, but personal agenda, greed for power.

PMLN is an agencies' party, they were created and bred by the agencies, won elections on the basis of agencies, and now the same agencies are not ready to support them any further. What do you expect? Bitching and cursing on the part of Nawas Sharif - what else on can expect.

NOTHING PMLN is doing has anything to do with "principle" whatsoever. Just look at their corrupt Punjab government.
