Why everyone is wondering on this title?
Yes, he'll be remembered as a martyr announced by us on the day he leaves this world.
Guess who else is chosen by us but not by Allah for calling a martyr?

He is already an alive martyr .. as his conscious is no more for a very long time ... and don't forget that Pakistan's situation is not different than Karbala. You can also see absence of water, electricity, sugar, food, etc. The nation is waiting for "shimmer" only to come and behead the whole country and the entire nation becomes Shaheed. Alhamdu Lillah.

Brother, this is a nice one. Absence of essentials, aggravated hardships of a common man makes the current situation in Pakistan nothing less than Karbala.Posted 2 years ago on 26 Dec 2009 16:53 # -

Well said. However, we the people of Pakistan are responsible for this Karbala who broght these leaders up to rule. I remember the words of Pakistan history's most dangerous general Pervez Musharaf saying on his final speech "Pakistan ka Allah Hafiz". He may be the liar of all liars but this statement is valid as we have seen and will see in the future. Until and unless we get rid of these ZARs and NAWs, "Pakistan ka Allah hi Hafiz hai.

The word martyr is a sacred word. I doubt if it would be proper to use this word loosely for people of lesser character.
Recently this word martyr has been and is being used in situations where it is not applicable.
In today's Pakistan, to expect intellectual honesty from politicians is to have expected Yazid and Shimer to have fought on the side of Imam Hussein in Karbala.
In race horses and hunting dogs-( and in people) it is the character that matters and in our case-( our politicians that is)-it is not the case.

@shimatoree
This is exactly the intention behind the post that we are unfortunately used to use this sacred word martyr for our corrupt politicians when they are killed. A martyr is the one who is died for Allah, Muhammad (SAW), for his/her country. Today if any corrupt politician is killed, we say that he/she is martyred.
If by God's Will, Mr. 100000000% is killed today, he'll be called as a martyr.
What a misery!!!!!!Posted 2 years ago on 26 Dec 2009 18:12 # -
@hamarapakistan
First of all, the people of Pakistan + the candidates have no trust in election system. Democracy can only be a success, when you make sure that there is no way to power but the support of people. India has shown this successfully, despite corruption everything, they are successful enough that a Zardari cannot be their president.
Now second point, the whole pakistan is going through a slow death process (suicide, bombing, hunger, disease). But only Shaheed are who are the most corrupt.

@Raza ...or in other words...every corrupt becomes Shaheed.
