  1. I suggest that, we should allow this system to show itself and give it a chance to prove it self. I mean this Qazi court system.

Let it show itself if this is do able.

    Mulla!

  2. now the chief justice of pakistan has been reinstated with really admirable struggle of pakistani people so we must not be talking about personal judiciary in any part of pakistan

  3. This is EXACTLY WHAT I am trying to say;

let them show their real face!

let them fail once again ……be patient…..let them show their real face……

if you curb them now, they will resist and they are like “spring”…if you suppress them they “spring back” with more force…

let them “show” their real faces…..

    Mulla!

  4. Hamid Mir in one of his recent column has said that, the terrorism will not end unless Palestine issue and other issues are not settled.
    What a joke ? what a stupidity?
So Mr. Mir killing police recruits in Manawan and attacks on a Cricket team serve any purpose to solve those issues. If those bastards ( so called talibans) are so much commited to cause of Islam they should go and start a Jihad in Egypt or in Saudia or elsewhere, why Pakistan?
and then killing poor people or even leader who was more popular amongst poor ( Benazir), why?
There are elements in our power houses who support those killers.

  5. We have to realize that TTP is not just a reactionary/revenge response to army’s invasion anymore. They are a real threat staring us directly in the eyes. If the guys sitting in Wazirstan won’t issue public threats to US, why on earth the world woudnt think that that place is epicentre of terrorism! They no longer want just the army out of FATA. They have organized themselves and they plan to stay and rule.

  6. I just watched the beginning of the show and maybe she made some sense later but Samar Minallah’s opening comments were totally ridiculous. In claiming there was no peace in Swat, the only example she could come up with was a “16 or 17 year old girl being flogged publicly”.

Would this great defender of Human Rights to tell me how many 16 year old (and younger) girls was blown up to bits before this current (and about to go to hell just as per wishes of Ms Minallah) peace deal? How many were left without limbs? How many were left orphans? How many are left to suffer the life of refugee camps? How many of them have since been raped there? How many of them have to sell their bodies to survive? But that somehow none of that is Human Rights violation. That one public flogging is all hat matters. And so kind of her to have made a video and put it on YouTube for the world to see the “horror of a public flogging”. Of course she has no videos of the dead and maimed from the time before. How nice of her.

Her dishonesty was is displayed by the fact that she did not inform us as to WHY the girl was being flogged. I am sure she was accused of something (no matter how silly) but we are not supposed to care about that but focus on “barbaric” act of public flogging.

    Shame on you Ms Minallah!

(Now the baboos can let it rip πŸ˜› )

  7. Taliban are sick people. This video proves the case once again. They have a woman pinned down and lashed 50 times. This is the islam that is suppose to make the world a better place. How can anyone be this ignorant. I am astonished this is happening in 2009.

  8. @nota
would you like to share the noble reason why this girl was flogged 50 times by men in public. I am sure she isnt a murtid or she would have been executed so what is it? The same brilliant people who blew up girl schools by bombs must have a good reason?

  9. @lota6177
“@notawould you like to share the noble reason why this girl was flogged 50 times by men in public. ”

Like I said I did not watch the whole show so I don’t know which exact lashing you are talking about. But here is one that I have watched, courtesy of CNN:

(Note: Just saw the screen shot @axis0110 linked to so I believe it is the same)

    Taliban justice in Swat Valley

The girl in this one is being lashed for adultery, as stated. Straight forward really πŸ™‚

Is it right? I won’t say πŸ™‚ But do listen to the school headmaster Zardini Susri in the clip. I am certain you will disagree with him. And I am certain you think this is OK:

And you think this is “cool”:

    πŸ™‚

(Case you don’t know, much worst butt-whipping happens at every thana of this country. We will never hear the likes of you describe it as “barbaric” or say “I am astonished this is happening in 2009” )

    BTW: Is the following “barbaric”?

  10. one simple question, why we didn’t have these problems inside Pakistan, until 2001???? We never had such a problem before, we had peace and only women used to be abused, were by the landlords, waderas, sardars and chowdaries in their private jails, to what extent they were and are abused and tortured, we don’t know because nobody is allowed to take cameras inside their private properties, and our leaders, ministers and top brace are the friend of these saitanic devils.

  11. @nota
r u high on alchoal? your rambling answer omplies that if i dont agree with taliban lashing 50 times a underage girl for suspision of adultery than i am ok with bsdm, torcher in police stations or i am a shia muslim. The way i see it the girl who was lashed by the likes of you had to deal with your kind while pinned down being lashed 50 times getting justice for a finite time. I have enjoyed the pearls of wisdom of your ignorant ideoligy for 15 seconds that it took for me to read your post. The women around you are stuck with you for an infinite time be it a mother, sister or wife etc. God help them.

  12. @lota6177
Instead of let your mind run wild trying to figure out what my post “omplies”, why don’t you try comprehending what I am saying. But I guess it is not possible when you already have predetermined I have a “ignorant ideoligy” and you have an attention span of “15 seconds” πŸ˜›

  13. this @nota is truly sick, and sickening. never has he been straight in answering a single question. always, diverts to crimes perpetrated by west/zionists as answer. you sick person, the crimes of taliban against innocents is not the answer to crimes by west/jews/hindus etc. also against innocents.

yet you harp, on and on. your depravity is beyond the pale

  14. I think what nota is trying to say is that although similar and other even more barabaric acts (e.g. Karo kari) are being perpetrated right under our noses, it is our personal bias against somebody claiming to be implementing the shariah law that makes us go “OMG! How barbaric!” about it, while the other acts go almost un-noticed, or atleast do not elicit from us a response of the same intensity for the former as for the latter. A major contributing factor to this is also that we do not see Audio/Visual content showing those attrocious crimes being perpetrated…

Imagine yourself reading a news clipping saying “10 died in a suicide attack in mingaura”… And now imagine watching a gory video (available on youtube) of 2 muslim students lying on the ground being brutally beaten senseless with bones in arms and legs broken by 50+ hindu classmates with sticks and hockeys in an Indian college, with the Indian army watching the brutality as a by stander.

Trust me… by the time you’re done watching the clip, you would not even remember the location or the number of people who died from the news clipping you had read earlier , but you’ll remember those 2 beaten up bodies for a long time to come and will probably come to pkpolitics and talk about it as well.

And I thought I was saying it plainly to but the baboo response certainly shows their glaring biases πŸ™‚

  16. @nota
I was happy to read farqis comments. There are at least one or two in this forum who actually use their brains.
