  1. Nawaz Sharif has played enough politics. Now he has to stand for Pakistan otherwise he is going to be another Zardari…hated by people of Pakistan.

  2. Now (when election time is nearer) it is in the interest of politicial parties to keep the distence from PPP, for the good names or their better image, no matter 3 years they were with PPP previously.

Ok Mr. Moed, economic upgrade takes time, but we haven’t seen that PPP has taken any initiatives in this regards, which they prove to the public, basically they don’t have interest in progress of Pakistan at all, “if there is will, there is always a way”!! Dr. Moed you are wrong that corruption has nothing to do with our ecnonomy, sir due to corruption, we take more loans, and print more paper money, which in return drops our rupee value and increase our debts, and due to governmental institute’s parasites & lich, burden on our common men increases day by day.

  3. Good to see you Dr Moeed, where did you go?

Nawaz Sharif has this thing stuck in his head that he can comeback with a 3/4 majority. Which is not possible anymore. After the new elections you will still have MQM+PPP+PML-N+PML-Q+PTI+JUI coalition government, they need to live with each other and comeup with a 25 year plan for the country. They can start it now or they can waste another 2 years and then do it. If the next five years also go they way they are going now then all these parties will be history.

Actually, in that case, I will personally set the constitution on fire in front of national assembly.

  5. Bloody cool Dr. Sahab… you are pretty learned man 🙂

“Dr. Moeed Pirzada (Director & Anchor * World Today – Ptv-Prime), studied International Relations at the School of International Affairs, Columbia University, New York and studied Media & Internet law at London School of Economics, where he was a Britannia Chevening Scholar with the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. “

  6. Waseem Akhtar said that awam knows PPP and N-League from their past,he forgot to tell about MQM’s past is full of awam’s blood and they will continue taget killing in Karachi.

  7. Two knock out blows by Dr. Moeed Pirzadah

He knocked out Waseem Akhtar and then he knocked out Khwaja Saad Rafiq

    Well put doctor

  8. So good to see Dr. Moeed again! his analysis is always balanced and neutral and has a streak of positive energy, look how he sees strength of Pakistani democracy in the Raymond Davis Affair…I have heard that he is going to head a new English Channel Ptv is bringing, and will be doing Round Table and Great Debates but nothing of the sort of management position Dr. Shahid Masood had, but I wonder will be be able to offer his open analysis on Ptv?..

  9. Pakistani politicians should learn from what happended with US-backed Mubarik, Zainul Abideen and others, and how much resistence has been put in by Libya against Qadafi. Although Egyptians and Tunisians or yet to reach what they wanted and an autocratic ruler has been replaced by another American puppet regime, but it would not be able to survive.
Our leaders should feel this Anger of the Nation.

  10. PML (N) and party should stop their efforts to make people fool. As long it was in the interest of Nawaz Sharif he was cooperating with PPP and now suddenly he realized that he needs to play the role of genuine opposition just because now it will serve their interest.

You raised very good point my friend. Our leaders do not learn lesson and at the same time a new person is always ready to serve American interest. Military has taken over in Egypt and you will see than once again a American puppet will be enforced on Egypt, because their military is also loyal to America like Pakistan and can not deviate from American interest.

  12. Anyone who has studied Economics 101 in university knows that the business cycle crap Dr. Moeed Pirzada was talking about was exactly that…

It’s always good for people to actually know something before pontificating. I’ll write about this further later on the forums and my blog.

  13. MQM and PML (N) only offering ten point or nine points and at the same time they are the part of the government. What is their point of view I can not understand.

That is the problem in our country that every body criticize others but do not care what they are doing them selves.

It does not make any difference even if he stands now because now he will stand for himself not for the country or people of Pakistan.

Yes you are right. Why Nawaz Sharif did not think about his image for last three years. What about his excuse to support the democratic system in the country.

  17. Waseem Ahmed said that MQM won the seats in Kashmir and in Gilgit. I wnat to remind him and MQM that they did not won these seats by the votes of the people but it was already decided to give those seats to MQM.

Do not worry they are doing this TOPI DRAMA to fool people behind the close doors they are all same. Tomorrow after elections if PML does not get majority they will sit with PPP with out any problem.

  19. Leader of every political party says that only his party is working for the people of Pakistan if that would have been the case Pakistan was going to be in very good shape.

  20. I only agree with one point of Waseem Ahmed that people’s party does not have competent people to choose from. After BB all the good men of PPP have been cornered by Zardari.
